Chapter 16; It hurts

Jieun's POV

After the movie ended, Bangtan left Jungkook's house to rest in their dorm after the numerous practices throughout the week, while Jungkook stayed in his own house since he's still studying.

We gathered and started on our homework as school starts tomorrow..

Jaebum and Naeun wanted to leave first as they have to go somewhere (ayeeee going for a date maybe keke) but I stopped them as I wouldn't want to stay at a guy's house alone? It's weird and who knows what will happen... but they insisted on leaving so I decided to leave with them. Jaebum and Naeun exited the house first, while I was at the door step since I had to give the two of them some space. ( I do not want to be the third party!!) While I was about to step out of Jungkook's house, someone grabbed onto my arm and backhugged me!!!!

Me: YAH WHO ARE YOU?!

JK: Don't go....

Me: J-Jungkook?

JK: Yes it's me.. Don't leave me..

Me: J-Jungkook ah.. I'm tired.. I wanna go home and rest..

JK: But you can rest in my house too.. Can you not go? I don't want you to go...

He said as he closed the door and dragged me to the sofa.

Me: W-why do you not want me to go? Wouldn't I be disturbing you?

JK: OF COURSE NOT!! I-I'm just.. I just.. I'm afraid I'll miss you.. I'm afraid that something will happen to you.. I'm afraid that if you leave me, you'll never come back to me..

Me: Jungkook ah what are you saying? Why would I leave you? You know the fact that (in a whispering tone) *I like you* so of course I won't leave you!!

JK: What did you say? I know the fact that you what?

Me: Nothing....

/Ding Dong/

JK: Who could it be...

Jungkook went to open the door while I followed him.

JK: A-Ailee?

Ailee? Jungkook's ex-girlfriend? What is she doing here?

Me: Annyeonghaseyo Jung Jieun-ibnida (Hello, I'm Jung Jieun)

Ailee: Annyeonghaseyo Ailee-ibnida... What are you doing here?

Me: Oh er we had a sleepover with 2 other friends but they left first and I was about to leave..

Ailee: Ohh..

JK: What are you doing here?

Ailee looked at me for a moment and I quickly walked upstairs to give them some space to talk. Jungkook grabbed my wrist before I started walking and said "Don't go. Stay here." I held his hand tight and assured him "It's okay. I'll be upstairs." I smiled to him before letting go of his hands and walked towards the bedroom upstairs.

I went into his bedroom and sat on the bed. This is the place where I got closer to him. This is the place where I confirmed my feelings for him. Would this also be the place where my heart shatters into pieces? Since Ailee is back here, what.. would happen?

Jungkook's POV

I went to get the door and saw her. Ailee. She's back.

Me: What are you doing here?

Ailee eyed Jieun telling her to go away. I stopped Jieun from doing so as I didn't want her to misunderstand that there is still something going on between me and Ailee. "Don't go. Stay here." She grabbed my arm and smiled to me, saying "It's okay. I'll be upstairs." She walked up the stairs as I stared at her backview..
