Can't Take the Heat?

Hi everyone!

First of all, I just want to say that this is NOT my story.

This is a STEREK fanfic that was originally posted on the platform of Ao3 (archive of our own) on the year of 2013 (8 years ago).

The author of this amazing story is "Ilovesocks_24"

Unfortunately, they have being MIA for all this years, but that doesn't mean that all their work has to be stolen.

Many people not just in wattpad, but in several reading sites, have being stealing this person story and pass it off as theirs, copying the full story, and changing the names of the characters (or half of them), and deleting the comments when they began to suspect that they have read this somewhere else, or when they simply tell them that they did not wrote the story.

And we know that this is wattpad, many people upload fanfics or stories of authors that have banished, but there is one difference, and that it's the credits. They give full credits to the author and where to find the original fic, or plot, or whatever. They credit the author, not pretend they wrote it, and then get mad when people point it out.

So, we decided to help all those readers who are wondering the origin of this story and those whose voices where deleted by the publishers of the rip-off stories by giving this story the recognition that it deserves, we know we can't report the other stories because we are not the legitimate owners of the original one, but we can help by posting where this story is from, and by sharing this knowledge maybe people will realize the truth.

This fanfic is the first part of the "Carbonara Mondays" series, the second one being a one-shot from Derek's point of view.
