we took a different path twice
after coming back together,
holding on to thinnest of thin,
letting our wounds remain open
living in lies and constant apologies
and if you're someone to just teach me a lesson
I want you to teach me all over again
teach me I'm not worth this pain,
not teach me to no longer want you
