Just A Tiny In-between-part

"Jae?"

"Yeah?"

I felt how he moved behind me, then his arm sneaked around my waist and he pulled me to his chest. "I love you. Really." he sighed. "I'm sorry for making you go through all this shit…" He placed a soft kiss in the back of my neck, making me smile.

"It's okay." I turned around and kissed him softly. "How do you feel about everything?"

"I… Feel kind of relieved, I guess.. I don't know, I'm just really tired right now…" his hand slipped underneath my shirt and softly caressed my back. "All I know is that it feels really good to be with you like this."

I nodded. I knew what he meant, I felt the same. I just really enjoyed lying here with him cuddling, not having to worry about anything, at least for the rest of the night. I closed my eyes as he kissed me again and melted into the warmth of his touch. When we had broken the kiss, I chuckled and snuggled up to him. It did not take long until I felt myself drifting off to sleep.
