Chapter 34

"So how was your day kahapon?" Claudia asked me.

"Grabe sobrang ganda." I sarcastically answered.

Finally! I'm free today. So now I'm here in Starbucks with Claudia, Mandy, Ariella, and Aaliyah. Girls talk muna kami ngayon.

Yung mga lalaki naman ay nandito lang din sa malapit. Hindi ko alam kung saan na sila napadpad.

"Hindi mo na iinumin yan ate Mau?" Aaliyah asked me.

"I'm just gonna drink this at my house. If iinumin ko ito ay baka makita ako ng iba. Mahihirapan tayo" I answered. Tumango lang ako.

"So baby how's your school?" Tanong ko kay Mandy na nasa cellphone na ngayon at ngumingiti. Nagdadalaga na ata ito.

"Oh ate it's fine. It's good" she answered habang hindi tinananggal ang tingin niya sa cellphone. Umusog ako papalapit sakaniya at sinilip kung ano ang ginagawa niya sa cellphone. Pero mabilis niya lang itong nilayo at tumawa siya,

"Ate privacy" she said, ngumiwi lang ako at tumawa.

"Let's go to the mall?" Claudia asked. Tumango lang ako at mas lumaki ang kaniyang ngiti.

"Good" she said using a devilish tone, my body froze nung narinig ko iyun pero hindi ko lang iyun pinansin.

"Sa Dunkin lang muna me. I miss their donuts na eh. You need to samahan ako Mau" Claudia said and hinila na ako.

Claudia. Not asking if I want to or not. Well, that's Claudia.

Papasok na kami sa DD ng bigla akong may nakitang pamilyar na istraktura. He is wearing a black hat and black shades while talking to Claudia's friend, Dianne.

Aalis na sana ako pero sa kasamaang palad ay mas malakas saakin si Claudia dahilan na walang kahirap hirap niya akong dinala sa table ni Louise. 

Fuck you, Claudia!

"Hi Maureen! Hi Claudia!" nakangiting sabi ni Dianne.

"Hi" I greeted back. Pinaupo naman ako ni Claudia sa tabi ni Louise. 

Nilayo ko ng konti ang aking upuan sakaniya pero mas pinalapit niya lang ito saakin. Lalayo pa sana ako ng hinawakan niya ang aking kamay dahilan na natigilan ako. Napatingin ako sa pinsan ko na nasa harap habang nakikipag kwentuhan siya sa kaibigan niya.

"Don't avoid me. I'm your partner" He said. I glared at him.

"You're my partner at the set. Not in real life" I said at lalayo na sana pero may sinabi siya dahilan na natigilan ako.

"I posted that we're dating, and we started dating when we were young. So that our movie would be the biggest hit. So we're partners not just in sets but in real life too" He said. Bigla ako nakaramdam ng inis.

"Louise, what the fuck are you thinking? Is your brain not working anymore? Can you please fucking separate your life issues and your work?" I almost yelled at him. He sighed.

"It's for our work. We need to have more attention in order for our movie to have high views" He seriously said. My brows furrowed.

"What the fucking fuck? Wouldn't they think that we're just faking the news? Like you told them today but our shoot is still not starting! Ano yun? Love at first sight tayong dalawa?! Mabuti sana pag nag aaral pa tayo! Pero hindi Louise! Artista tayo" Inis kong sabi. Tinikom niya ang bibig niya may gusto siyang sabihin pero parang pinipigilan niya ang sarili niya.

"Tell me" I said again seryoso na. He sighed.

"W-well the picture I posted when we were dating a long time ago. They found out it was y-you" He slowly confessed at napabuntong hininga naman ako.

"Why didn't you delete it? We're already over!" 

"We're not over! I didn't agree that we're over! The relationship started because WE want it not YOU or ME. So it should end if I agree but I didn't. I still love you, Maureen" He said smiling he slowly reached my hands pero linayo ko sakaniya.

"I don't. I don't love you anymore" I lied.

"Then love me again. Please. I know you're upset about the incident a long time ago. But please I'll tell you everything now." he begged. I just smiled 

"I'm not upset about you lying to me. I'm upset because I think can't trust you anymore" I said,  I was about to leave when he held my hand and stopped me. 

"Someones want to explain" Louise said, Phea suddenly showed up. She smiled but there's a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"Hi Maureen, sorry for showing up after everything that I did" she smiled and bit her lower lip.

"Yeah, you should be sorry" I mumbled at bumalik sa pagkaka upo. Umupo siya sa tabi nina Claudia at Dianne.

"Now explain, I'm busy" suplada kong sabi.

"E-everything was Hannah's plan" she said slowly. Napatayo ako at natawa.

"Hannah?! Hahaha. Are you kidding? My best friend won't do such a thing." I said while laughing. "I think I really need to fucking go. I'm fucking tired of all your bullshits" I said at aalis na sana when she played a recording where I can hear the conversation of Hannah and Phea.

"You told me everything will work! Maureen and Louise gonna break up and Louise gonna notice me again and love me. But fuck it! He hates me more now! You told me everything's gonna work! I wouldn't do it in the first place if he'll hate me. I'll just let him be happy with her as long as I can stay by his side even if it hurts" Phea said. I suddenly heard a familiar laugh.

"You're so damn dumb." I heard Hannah's voice dahilan na natigilan ako.

"Why do you think I made you do that? Of course to Louise to hate you and for them to broke up. In order for me to have my way with Louise. I'll comfort him, make him drunk, and give him pleasure that he won't think of anything else but just me." Hannah laughed

"You think I'll let you have him? Stupid whore" Hannah added, I can hear Phea's sobs. "You and that damn Maureen are just the same. Stupid and a whore" Hannah said, narinig ko ang pag galaw ng upuan then I heard Hannah's voice again.

"By the way, thank you for making it easy for me, Phea. Oh, don't worry I'll fucking take care of my Louise."
