TREASURE Series #1 (Haruto) Under the Pink Sky

Chapter 7

"W-what?" my voice was shaking I don't even know why my heart is beating so fast right now.

What is this feeling?

Haruto stared at me for about 3 seconds and said,

"What? I said it's beaut—the sky! The pink sky is beautiful!"

He said trying so hard to defend himself.

I've never seen him being this much defensive before.

"Oh yeah, right. The pink sky is beautiful." I said agreeing with him.

Woah, what just happened?

Just like that, the day ended and we said our goodbyes.

I hugged Hanabi tight and hold her to do well in school like she always does.

I also kissed Haruto's mom good bye and bowed to his dad.

I can't really look at Haruto straight into eyes right now and I really really have no idea why.

I don't know, I think it's just me?

In my peripheral vision, I can see him looking at me like he's waiting for me to look at him back.

I looked back at him and nodded as a sign of good bye.

Wow, I would usually slap his arm as a goodbye but why is it different with me right now.

Holy smokes! I think I'm being awkward.

"How was today, anak?" My mom asked while we were inside the car.

I saw her look at dad and dad did the same. What's up with them?

"Today was amazing, I was under the pink sky." I said and smiled.

And we drove back home.

As we arrive, I went straight to my room and took a shower to freshen up.

I still can't seem to forget about earlier. Seriously, what's wrong with me? Ugh.

I know it's nothing to Haruto but why is it something to me?

I can't understand it and it's frustrating me.

I dialed Jiyu's number without hesitation.

I think this girl could tell me what this feeling is.

"Hello Kai, what's up?" she answered the call right away.

"Are you busy right now? Talking to Woruta?" I asked.

Woruta is Jiyu's boyfriend and also became mine and Suna's friend.

I know they call each other pretty much every night so I asked.

"No, he already called me earlier. Why?" I can believe I'm feeling nervous talking to my best friend.

"Uhmmm..." Gosh! I can't find the right words.

"Spill it already!" she shouted on the other line.

She knows what that means.

We already talked a lot of this and she wants me and Suna to tell her because she could give us advices since she is currently in a relationship with Woruta for 2 years now.

"Can you expand your sentence? I mean, of course you're feeling something but I'm telling you it's not love but admiration"

"I don't think you love Doyoung just yet."

Doyoung? I face palm at that. I mean, I've only been talking to them about Doyoung so no wonder.

"It's not Doyoung." I said and I heard her scream on the other line.

"OMG, who?!" I can't with this girl.

I haven't told her who I am talking about yet but she's starting to go hysterical already.

"Let's say it together!" she's sounding so excited. "3...2...1!" he started counting down.

"Haruto!"
