Some words were enough to snap us out of our trance and catch our attention. Unfortunately for Kate, this was her time to come back to reality. Her brows furrowed and a feeling rushed to her heart that felt heavy, reality was starting to kick in again as each and every moment this morning started to kick on like the start of a rusty engine, just tugging at her heartstrings
"Excuse me!?" Autumn yelled
"You left me alone in that big home of yours. I was lonely and I wanted to check on my girl" Brooke pouted like a small child
"Ew" May scoffed
That squeezing pressure around Kate's heart came flooding in when Brooke spoke, Kate's eyes closed tightly as she sucked in the cold air, slowly untangling herself from Autumn's body pressing against her own
"I told you stay there and I'll talk to you when I get home" Autumn gritted
"Oh so I stay at home like the good little wife that I am and you go to work to kiss your whores!?" Brooke asked
The veins in Autumn's knuckles suddenly became visible when she stepped away from the brunette and sped over to her ex, her dark eyes had a ring of fire around them that even May noticed from the edge of the room. The girl's teeth grinded against each other and she moved fast towards the purple hair girl who didn't seem threatened by anything
"Don't you fucking dare talk about Kate like that again" Autumn hissed, her lips hovering dangerously close to Brooke's but her intentions were wilder
"Or else what?"
"I'll bury you with my own fucking hands" The raven hair girl spat
The purple hair girl chuckled softly before placing wrapping her fingers into Autumn's costume and tugging her forward, colliding their chests before she brought her face to Autumn's ear
Her green eyes pierced into Kate's coffee brown pupils who stood a few feet behind them. Brooke knew her touch could paralyze her ex which is why she gripped the girl's shirt tighter, her smile met her ear as she watched Kate from afar, wanting to see her reaction to the girl she crushed on being touched in ways she couldn't
"Or you can just bury them inside of me" Brooke whispered into the girl's ear
Somethings we're the final straw for us in which we grab our shit and leave. Sometimes it's when we realize our self worth or realize how toxic a person is to our life. But for Kate, it was the final straw of what her heart could handle
Her own thoughts were dangerous, but to see them actually happen before her eyes was leading her down a path she dared not to go again
Her feet finally took control as she ran. She ran away from the scene that crushed her heart, the scene where the girl she had fallen for was wrapped up around the girl she had no chance of competing against
May's face showed the definition of sympathy when her eyes landed on the brunette heading towards her trailer. It was obvious that something was going on between Kate and Autumn, everyone knew it but it had just been confirmed before her eyes
It was only dissapointing to see what was happening and knowing it was affecting them both. So her eyes were glossy when they met Kate's, but they were burning a fire when they landed on Autumn and Brooke for being two foolish adults that were oblivious to anything around them
Kate slammed her door when she reached her trailer, her chest heaving heavily as her back collided with the wooden door, her mind racing in a marathon as she tried so hard to not acknowledge what happened behind closed doors
But unfortunately, it only meant she didn't see what happened next
Autumn on the other hand wasn't feeling any of it. Her nose scrunched in disgust as she shoved Brooke away from her body
"What the hell is wrong with you" the raven hair girl spat
"I just miss you"
"And I don't miss you. Now leave. We both know you're not any representative and frankly wherever you go, trouble seems to catch me"
"Is that why you were making out with your roommate against a plastic tree?" Brooke scoffed
"That's none of your business. You're not my friend, you're not my mother, you're nothing. I don't even know why I agreed to help you with your shit in the first place"
"Because you're my bab-"
"EW FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP SAYING THAT" Autumn yelled
"But you used to like it when I called you my baby" Brooke pouted as she draped her arms around the girl's neck
"Yeah well, things changed when you decided to fuck everything up"
