CHAPTER 31: VLAD MEETS HIS APPA

THIRD PERSON'S POV

They all talked when Daehyun came into the living room with Hanseol and his eyes widen as tears pooled in them when he saw his youngest son.

"Taehyung?" Daehyun softly calls out and Taehyung turns around as he teared up when he saw his father

"Appa" Taehyung whispers

Daehyun opened his arms and Taehyung didn't hesitate to run into them, both of them hugging, until Daehyun saw two children that look like his youngest son, then pulling away from him.

"Are those my grandchildren?" Daehyun asks as he looks at Vlad who ran up to hide behind Taehyung while Vante stared up at them with his boxy smile

"HAI!!!" Vante greets as he waves his sweater paws making everyone coo at him

"Hello little one" Daehyun greets

"Are you grandpapa Daehyun?" Vante asks as he tilts his head

"Yes I am, you must be Vante" Daehyun says with a smile and Vante hums as he nods his head

"Yep! And that's Vlad!!" Vante says as he points at Vlad who was hiding

"Baby Bear, don't point at people, that's bad" Jeongguk scolds then bows towards Daehyun

"Sorry Papa" Vante pouts and Daehyun looks at Jeongguk

"Vante, can you go to your mother for a while?" Daehyung asks

"Why~?" Vante asks as he tilts his head again and Daehyun laughs

"I just have to talk to you, father" Daehyun says and Vante nods and skipped towards Taehyung who was talking to his uncle, Kyungsoo and Jungmyeon

Jeongguk gulped when he saw that he was alone with Daehyun, Baekhyun, and Luhan.

"So you're Jeon Jeongguk? The twin brother of my son's ex?" Daehyun coldly asks and Jeongguk shivered in fear from his deep voice

"Yes mr. Kim" Jeongguk answers with a strong voice

"How did you meet my baby brother?" Baekhyun asks and Jeongguk looks at him

"To tell you the truth, Jungkook told me to keep an eye on them back in New York since I loved there since I was still 15 years old, and then Taehyung found out about me and that's how we met" Jeongguk tells with a chuckle

"How come we never heard of you before Jeongguk?" Luhan asks

"Well, my and Jungkook's parents split up and Pop took me with him" Jeongguk says

"You're parents divorced?" Hanseol, Luhan's father asks, joining the conversation

"Yes, when me and Jungkook were still little, our parents were happy with each other, until we turned 11, their relationship started to get a little toxic, until our father was caught cheating by our Pop when we were fifteen, so Pop decided to go on a divorce, which ended him getting into an accident and get amnesia when he got the divorce papers, so when father knew about it, he decided to sign it and then move Pop to New York, also splitting me and Jungkook apart, with him going with father, while I stuck with Pop to help him get through everything, until he passed away when I turned 20 due to leukemia" Jeongguk tells with sad eyes

"Oh, I'm so sorry that happened to you Jeongguk, but if you want- you can join our family" Daehyun says softly and Jeongguk looked at him with wide eyes

"I-I can?" Jeongguk asks in a whisper and Daehyun smiles as he nods

"Of course Jeongguk, just promise me that you won't hurt my baby brother like how your brother did, all of us here don't want to see him hurt anymore" Baekhyun says and Jeongguk nods and smiled
