Chaper 7: A visit

I was a bit relieved that she didn't ask anymore questions about the mercenaries..for now.

"(D/n)!" I called, just in time for a doggo to somehow tackle me

"oof"

I fell backwards with my dog. We all let out a laugh as (D/n) barked excitedly. Moments later everyone was at the couch chatting and getting to know each other

"So Y/n, how have you been since I last saw you?" Alisa asked while petting (D/n)

"Well, I've been doing alright, nothing new" I answered as (D/n) willingly walked over to me asked to be pet.

I reached out, when my hand was about to make contact with his fur, I stopped. My hand just above him, he stared at me for five seconds before jumping on me, begging to be pet. I let out a laugh with my friend as the Mercenaries chuckled or giggled along. Finally giving my cute little doggo what he wanted, I sat him on my lap and started petting him

"So uh, how long have jou two known each ozher for?" Medic asked

"Oh, we've known each other since high school! Y/n was my classmate and one of the smartest students I know!" Alisa winked, I let out a blush of embarrassment before saying

"Don't tell them-"

She looked back at me with an evil grin, the mercs looked at me with confused looks.

"So this one time in class, well, History class, we we're learning about things that we once learned in middle school like African Americans, American Indians, immigrants and such just as a refresh so we don't forget, Y/n got mad when we were discussing Slaves, she hated the thought of treating a human being as an animal, like they weren't allowed to have feelings, Y/n started shaking and the teacher asked her if she was sick annddd I'll let you guess what happened next" Alisa laughed

My cheeks heated up and I hid myself in my hands, I heard chuckles and soft giggles around the room. I looked up to be met with some men who had pink or red (Demo) dusted onto their cheeks.

"Not my fault, can't blame me for getting mad" I pouted

"Pff hahaha, okie Y/n!" Alisa covered her mouth with her hand

"Anyway, I should be going now or my mom's gonna kill me. I'll catch up with you later alright, Y/n?" Alisa said getting up from her spot

"Sure, I'll see you later" I got up as well

I walked with Alisa out the door and to her car, giving her a hug before she got in her car and left as I waved goodbye to her. I came back inside, closing my front door and locking it.

"'ou really care for people's feelings and life, huh?"

I turned around to the French man and his friends, they gave me looks of 'did you actually get mad?' I let out a sigh

"I don't give a fuck about the color of your skin, your accent, your state or country, or where you came from. I love you for who you are and you can't change that, you are all unique, handsome, hot, and different in your own ways. Knowing that those people suffered for their families, even children got taken away from their parents. I had a reason to be mad, just like the westward. An angel leading people to kill the Indians, is that an angel any more? Killing innocent lives from what I heard is a sin."

I saw the pink dust on their cheeks become a red blush, I let out a chuckle

"Your faces match your outfits"

I walked away as the red on their cheeks darkened, (D/n) trailing behind me. I got showered and dresses for bed, my dog ofcourse, decide to join me tonight. He laid next to me, cuddling close, it took everything in me to just to not resist the urge to squeeze him to death. I started petting him until he fell asleep, aslo finding myself drifting off into my dreams as well

"Good night, (D/n)"

Dear readers,

please do *not* forgive me! I moved into my new house just two months ago, we didn't have internet yet so my life was pretty miserable, when my mother let me use her hotspot I was able to come back but my motivation hated me so I didn't really know what to do, after a while her hotspot died and I was even more miserable than ever, my mom went to our school and got me the School's hotspot but it only work for class (dang it) so I was focusing on school and pretty much that's all my mom is still trying to get the wifi box (or however you say it) but it'sbeen a month all ready and we still haven't gotten it yet, so I'm still waiting on that while my parents deal with paperwork and I deal with my classes. I'm using my mom's phone right now to finish this chapter. I'll try to update as much as possible, see you guys later!
