Chapter 28: The Quest for Soup

Start from the beginning

Just as I was about to start drawing, the moment the pen got in contact with the paper.

I got electrocuted, I drop the pen and stumble back, swearing.

"What the hell?"

I try again.

Electrocuted.

I again, stumble away.

Why can't I changed the story? I think angrily.

A few moments later, I come up with an answer.

It's writing itself, which means they have to figure it out themselves, which means the only thing I can do is watch.

___________
Pov: Boris

"Wally, ever heard of something called personal space?!" Sammy says, annoyed as he pushes the Boris clone away, because Wally had them too close to Sammy.

He didn't have to push me! Wally says, equally annoyed while glaring at Sammy.

"Can you both stop fighting, please?" Buddy says out loud to both of them.

"I agree with him." Norman adds, "We are supposed to be looking for food and I guess potential weapons."

"And you two fighting isn't helping." Buddy finishes.

"Fine." Sammy mutters as he stops glaring at the wolf.

Wally. Buddy says mentally to the janitor.

Fine. Wally replies as he follows Sammy.

Thank you.

They walk through the haunted house ride, and eventually managed to find a singular can of soup.

"Well, it's better than nothing." Buddy mutters.

Won't be enough to feed everyone.

Yeah, I know.

"Let's hope we can find more." Sammy replies.

"The irony with me here is great, because we are looking for food when I can't eat." Norman says, randomly, Wally looks over to him.

Well tell him that the rest of us need to eat and that the Searchers and Butcher Gang are afraid of him which means they will leave us alone.

Buddy ignores Wally's comment along with Norman's.
"Let's keep looking."

They continue searching.

About an hour later, they find three more cans.

"That's four. Still won't be enough for the. . . Eight? Of us." Buddy says as Wally picks up the can.

Well, there's three Alices, two Borises, and two ink men. So seven.
