This Inheritance

To the one not satisfied
The pain so much signifies
His place so gratified
Yet a hole that defies
The presence of it all
Love and family
Happiness and gay
Throwing around a charade
made it okay.
Yet he finds the missing piece
Long to have it all for peace
Riches don't define you
But that's what he is
Rich and successful
A person who couldn't complain
A person who can't be vain
A simple product of nepotism like,
A dimple on a face for hypnotism
Far away he dreams
A dream hard to achieve
Singing maybe or dancing say it,
Just anything but not
This inheritance.

Ruled by it all
Society and fall,
Cursing his ethic
Reviving his treacherous
Heart's desire to beat
What shouldn't be left in heat!
But he can't take the leap
Letting this thought seep
Because he could never leave
What's his and what he got,
This inheritance.
