In the Middle of the Night

In the middle of the night
When the stars shine so bright
In the vast expanse of the universe
Lie down a beautiful creation in tears

She's in love with someone
She thinks of him as the one
But he never feels the same towards her
Making her heart shatter

In the middle of the night she used to think of him
No one she ever had thought like that but only to him
To him that never cared as much as she cares
To him that brought her not smile but tears

She's so damn in love to that damn stupid person
And she's also stupid for making her heart in prison
In prison of that damn stupid love of hers
And in the middle of the night flows her tears

But once in the middle of the night
She thought to give up for what she used to fight
That stupid love for him that makes her suffer
And think there might be someone for her somewhere out there

In the middle of the night
When she gave up on what she used to fight
Brings back the smile in her eyes
As she look upon the starry night sky and whispered; "I'll soon catch my butterfly"
