If you think love is a dream

Love can make you feel out of this world happiness
But it could bring you hellish pain

Think again,

Even if you tell your feelings
Even if you are willing to showcase it to the world

If that someone can't love you back
Then your love feels like nothing
An unrequited love hurts even more
Specially if the one that your beloved loves the most
Is someone you can't compare with
You can't compare for in the first place
You were not in the picture
You would be happy seeing that someone smiling
At the same time your heart is aching
For you know that smile was not for you
That smile that you were never the reason
That smile that how you wish it was for you
Seeing them happy together
While you were at the corner
Looking at how happy they were
It hurts to love someone
Who can't see us the way we see them
The way we value them
That you can't do anything but wish
That your love was the one reciprocated
And not unrequited
