Lexa's POV

"Grounders to Ark, come in ark," I hear over the walkie. We running as fast as we can towards the house. I have no idea what's going on, all I know it shots have been fired.

"This is the Ark, we read you loud and Clear. "

"We need a med evac, we have an officers down, a bullet to the gut. We have managed to slow the bleeding but they are unconscious."

"We have your coordinates, an evac team is 30 minutes out. Will they be ok for that long?"

"Yes, we will move her to the beach and will wait." 'Her? Is Clarke ok? There's a 33% chance it's her.' My thoughts force me to move faster.

"Woods, we will meet you at the boats. There's land mines surrounding the mansion and we already lost Jordan."

"Copy that, who's been shot?"

"Griffin..."I spirit as fast as I can to the beach, I need to get to her. My breathing was growing heavy, my legs begging me to stop, but I couldn't.

"We're at the beach, Griffin's stable. How far out is the evac?" I hear Miller ask.

"7 minutes out." I run and I run, finally hearing crashing waves in the distance. Finally Miller comes into view and I spot Clarke laying on the ground with Jackson treating her wound. I drop to my knees next to her and see her unconscious body up close. I check her pulse just so I can hear her heart beating, it there, but slow.

"Baby I'm here. I'm so sorry I wasn't but I am now," I whispers into her ear, begging she can hear me. The sound of the helicopter is with in earshot and is approaching quickly.

"I'm going with her, all of you need to find the person responsible and kill them, I haven't heard the detail but make sure the head is stopped," I order. By that time everyone else was on the beach. "And don't forget about the ones back at the boat," I add.

"Don't worry Lexa, she's gonna be fine. I'm pretty sure the bullet missed the important organs," Jackson tries to reassure me, but it's not helping.

A rope drops down and shortly after so does one of the crew. He places her on the gurney and tugs singling she's ready to move.

"I'm coming with," I demand and he nods. He clips me up to the rope and soon enough with Clarke again.

"I'm Nyko, we are taking her to Arkadia medical, Dr. Abby Griffin will take over once we get there," Nyko says checking over Clarke's wound. I'm relieved to hear that her mother will be working on her. About half way there turbulence strikes and Clarke's vitals spike.

"What's going on," I panic.

"The bullet must have moved due to the turbulence," Nyko says, signaling for the other women to come and help. They get to work trying to figure out what to do.

"How far are we?" The women asked in a hurried tone.

"5 minutes," the pilot responds.

"Call ahead and make sure they're waiting, she needs surgery now!"

"Yes sir." I move closer to Clarke, I tuck a loose strand of hair behind her head.

"Don't worry Clarke, I'm right here. I'm not going to leave you ever again," I say and lean down to kiss her forehead.

As soon as we land she was rushed out. Abby gave mouthed me a quick 'thank you,' before leaving with her daughter. I was left alone with my thoughts, waiting for any news on Clarke.

•••

Hours go by and still no word, I haven't heard anything from the station either, Polis or Ark. I walk pace around in the waiting room, I'm not sure how many cups of coffee I've had.

"Griffin," a lady calls out.

"Yeah, I'm her girlfriend, any news?" I ask.

"She's stable, but she's still surgery, it was quite a nasty shot."

"Ok thank you, will you please let me know as soon as she's out? I beg.

"Of course," she smiles and then walks back to the receptionist desk.

My phone rings I look and see that it's coming from Kane.

"Hello?" I ask not sure if it's good or bad news.

"Hey woods, how's Clarke?"

"She's stable but still in surgery. Any woods from the team?"

"That's good and yes. They got her, she was in the basement of the mansion. They are all on their way back with Allie is her name and Finn, Wells, and Jaha.

"That's great news! Please be sure to keep me updated."

"I will and same goes with Clarke."

"Yes sir, I'll call you as soon as I hear something." Finally I'm able to does off while I wait to hear anything about the women I love lying on an operating table.
