''Shut the fuck up all right, I want those details right now no matter what it takes. No, I can't handle delays and you know that. Yes, in an hour and I wont call again'', he watched Macy, oblivious to his presence.

''The paintings are by Trouton'', he announced, his expressions giving nothing away.

''Intricate'', William noticed a dreamy softness in Macy's eyes and so he let her admire the paintings until Macy voluntarily gave him a business look.

''Admire them all you want since from tomorrow that wont be in your work profile, so now for your job'', he smirked, his voice clipped. He got her where he wanted her to be, beside him.

''Of course, what am I here for Mr. Clark'', she definitely seemed curious, but she let a little confidence slather her tone, she was definitely not going to give him an upper hand at this.

''Personal assistant'', William lift his lips in semblance of a smile not reaching his eyes.

''Ok, whose'', Macy asked with trepidation and confusion.

''Mine", and the way William stressed on the word mine, Macy narrowed her eyes at him.

''What! Why do you need an additional me when you already have someone at the reception running around you like a pet'', Macy mused.

''Firstly, that's none of your concern, secondly, he is a receptionist not an assistant and thirdly, you will have a far more detailed work profile than him so don't bother to compare'', William's eyes drifted to Macy's features as she digested the information. Her perfectly shaped nose, soft and plumped pink lips, high cheek bones and a sleek jaw but those eyes, those eyes had William in a trance ever since he had met her.

''Now if you're done staring at me like I'm some sort of an experiment may I know what my work profile comprises of'', she asked wanting to know what she was getting herself into.

''My day starts with a cup of black coffee, no sugar, you will organize my meetings, the schedule for the entire day, use the printing machine, bring me documents that require signatures or immediate attention and run my personal errands'', he smirked.

''Personal errands'', she dint want to read too much into his words.

''You will learn Ms. Henderson, trust me it is going to be an enriching experience'', he wasn't giving anything away by his tone and expressions, which irritated her. For a moment she let her thoughts wander to the possibilities of rejecting this offer, but she quickly collected herself.

''Ok, where do I sign and I also demand an additional 1 weeks salary from you'', Macy smirked, catching William off guard.

William's eyes immediately shot at Macy in amusement. She would keep him on his toes, of that he was sure.

''May I ask why'', William questioned Macy.

''Well it's because you held me back for a week not letting me get a job anywhere else so I certainly deserve that pay'', Macy rolled her eyes at him. William's face lost color but he regained his original self-back.

''Fair point made Ms. Henderson'', William's eyes darkened into something sinister.

''Now if you've officially agreed to join us, I shall let Jason give you a tour around the office'', William called in the blonde man at the reception she just met. She quickly scurried out of his cabin, following Jason dutifully.

William was confused at what he was experiencing. A certain thrill, a challenge. He had never been commented on and questioned before, yet now Macy was here, debating, her snarky comments, her personality struck chords William never knew he possessed.

Jason was short, doe eyed and funny and Macy liked him immediately. He was much easier to get along than she had anticipated. He showed her around the main areas of the office, the café and also introduced her to some of the colleagues.

''Just so you know Mr. Clark has never had a personal assistant before, it's a first'', Jason winked.

''Should I be flattered'', Macy tried to pester Jason for hints on her new boss.

''Careful'', Jason smiled.

It was around nine when Macy knocked at William's cabin.

''Come in'', William raised his head up from the tons of files lying on his table, his eyes focused yet tired.

''Mr. Clark, Jason has showed me around and explained me the work'', she informed.

''Alright, you can leave for today and start from tomorrow'', William lazily dismissed her.

She collected her coat and clutch and left to take a cab. She retrieved her cell phone to call her father.

''Dad I got a job'', she sensed her dad grinning from the other side of the phone.

''Congratulations love'', her dad sighed.

''What is it dad'', Macy asked worried.

''I thought you would come to meet us all but anyways I am happy for you''.

''Oh, dad I promise to come soon'', she consoled her dad and then hung up as she neared her apartment.

''What the hell Macy'', Josh came running towards Macy and pulled her into a tight hug.

''Hey I'm alright'', Macy beamed.

''Where have you been, I've been trying to call you and you have no idea how worried I was'', Josh scolded.

''I know, I had gone for a job interview and my phone passed out'', Macy lied about the phone.

''What girl, tell me all about it, how was the interview, was the boss hot, did you meet your co workers'', Josh inquired curiously.

''Well, I got in. Post of a personal assistant to Mr. William Clark'', Macy announced sheepishly and Josh just gaped at her.

''You sure Macy, you want to do this job'', Josh shrugged not wanting to interfere.

''Yeah, I know, I know but then the job isn't too bad so I know I will catch up. But right now I want to celebrate so let's order pizzas'', Macy clapped her hands excitedly and Josh agreed willingly not wanting to burst her bubble.

The two of them slouched on the couch as they dug into the pizza and glued themselves to crappy telly.
