So, when you shift you're probably gonna want a script to organise yoself
A script is something you write and to put it simply- it's a fanfiction about yourself. You can change your name, height, eye colour, family, anything. You can also script how likable you are, what house you're in, your wand, any pets- hell, you could script that Draco lusts after you from day 1. It is really important to have a script, to ensure you have a safe time and that you're in control of your DR .
(for example. My friend didn't script that she had a high pain tolerance/ couldn't die and Bellatrix Lestrange used the Cruciatus curse on her, so obviously it was awful and she had to have a lot of going over her script and talks with her friends after to kind of recover from the trauma.)
(another friend didn't script that she was student, just that she visited Hogwarts, and she was made to work with the house elves and was the only human chef there. She met Harry once but he just stared at her, because it was such a weird sight seeing a witch slave over dinners, and he started talking about her behind her back. Not as bad as death, but still not ideal.)
It doesn't have to have every single detail in it, but some people like to be thorough.
