I'd spent the morning and mid afternoon driving Karlie around Rochester and downtown Detroit, taking her to one of the best restaurants in Michigan, and then just to the tourist points and whatever, we'd had such a great time and right now we was taking the riverside walk, it was starting to snow a little so it was chilly but perfect as we was wrapped up clasping takeout coffees as we chatted away, making our way back to my car,

"So are you ready to see that house I was talking about this morning?" I asked her,

"Sure am, let me just tell Matt" she pulled out her phone as I unlocked the car.

By the time evening had come around Matt had agreed to the move after Karlie sent him around 5 million photos of her soon to be 5 bedroomed, white picket fenced dream house, the viewing went fantastically so I threw down the deposit to secure it and now we was back home and in the guest house celebrating in the lounge with champagne, music on, the open fire burning bright and the warm glow of the wall lights adding to the warm tone of the room,

"I'm so fucking happy!" Karlie squealed and hugged me again,

"You almost spilt your drink on the rug!" I chuckled and straightened up her champagne flute,

"Oh my days sorry!" She laughed,

"Looks like you could use a too up?" I asked as I leant over to the table for the bottle,

"Of course! Neighbour" she winked, we hugged tightly,

"I can't wait Karlie" I topped up our glasses,

"Well... Like we have to sell up first so it'll take like a month or two but at least we will be here before Christmas, oh my god I can't believe it!!! I can't believe we're even having this conversation!"

"Stop you're getting me so excited!" I gushed!

"Ay what we hyping for?" Marshall startled us, Karlie froze up instantly,

"Karlie's moving over next month"

"Yea?"

"Mhm, she's going to come work for me" I looked at Karlie who was looking into her glass not wanting to stare,

"Yea well, I'd think twice about that one Karlie, she's a bossy ass bitch" we chuckled, she looked so shocked that he had just directly said something to her,

"Believe me I know" she kept up the banter with him, he smirked and walked off,

"Oh you do? Little miss strawberry over there." Here face was the same colour as one,
"And FYI Marshall it's a boss ass bitch, that's what I am" I laughed as he rolled his eyes,

"Yea if you say" he grinned,
"Anyways I just wanted to come by make sure you was home"

"Ah well yes, I'm home" I smiled, he slightly smiled and nodded,

"Aight well ima leave you two to it, good night ladies"

"Good night" we said in unison, and watched him walk off,

"Uhm yeah so..." karlie frowned in confusion, had Marshall really just made effort with her?

"I was not expecting that"

"You're telling me? He just talked to me for the first time ever. Is he okay?"

"Is he ever okay?" I giggled,

"No. Never" she laughed back,

"Well he knows how much you mean to me so.." I shrugged and gulped my champagne,

"Hmm shouldn't of taken a wedding proposal to know that"

"No I know Karlie. But, well everything that's happened over these past few years, and how much he's changed, I guess it really changes perspectives on things. He's changed Karlie, so much"
