It was just two days before the wedding and preparations had already begun at the house and at my studio, the whole wedding ceremony was being held at our place because it was the only place where we could get public access fully cut off.
Karlie was around, making sure everything was going to plan. Marshall and I were also talking to the people in charge of putting up the two ginormous wedding tents to cover the outside area in which the wedding was going to take place. One was placed near the house and the other to its side by the lake, the sketches of the interior in their books looked so beautiful I was so excited to see the finished outcome. Marshall wasn't over enthusiastic about having so many people working around his home but they was only outside so he couldn't spit his dummy out too much,

"I can't believe this" I fanned myself, it was beautiful weather and really warm,

"It's going to look so beautiful, I love how elegant it all looks" Karlie grinned,

"Me too. I'm really proud of how it's all come together, you've done amazingly Karlie"

"Well what can I say" we chuckled,
"Hey, are you going to try your dress on again?" She beamed,

"No..." I blushed,
"It's only two sleeps away" I clutched my stomach with nerves as we walked into the house,

"I just wanna see it onnnn" she pleaded, "C'mon Jodie just the once, just me and you"

"Nope, nobody is seeing it until the day" I didn't give in,
"Anyway do we have confirmation on the road closure?" We entered the kitchen,

"Yes! That was next on my list to discuss. So two police cars will be parked at the opening of the road where a stop sign will also be put up and on the day Shade 45 will put out an announcement that winkler mill road will be closed to the public for the day. Uhm, oh yes and all the guests each have their own car especially hired"

"What?"

"You didn't know? Marshall asked for me to set up transportation for all the guest so only that certain model of car is allowed up the road, it makes it much easier for the road marshal's to determine who are guests and who is public, and that way nobody can blag their way in, nobody can access the road on foot beyond the police car"

"I suppose that makes sense, I'm glad he paid for that" I chuckled as I poured us some champagne,

"There's also fencing to be delivered on the day for the paparazzi to be held back with"

"Oh I don't even want to think about them"

"Who, the press?"

"Yeah" I handed her a glass,

"It's all over the celebrity news and magazines, it's going to be an absolute media storm Jodie, you're just really lucky you can have the wedding here otherwise I couldn't begin to think of the troubles of getting you and Marshall to a venue safely and on time"

"Well hopefully the security and police keep it controlled down at the bottom of the road, it's like a 10 minute drive to get up here so we're quite safe from intruders I guess... God Karlie, I'm so fucking nervous"

"Don't let your nerves get to you, just to give you peace of mind these nerves are completely normal" she smiled and took ahold of my hand,

"I know but... I just... I'm getting married... me!"

"You are"

"Like it is really happening this time, for real... We've actually lasted through an engagement"

"You sound so surprised Jodie. You love each other, you were both made for each other, like Marshall said to me, it's been a long time coming"

"I know... I'm just.. I'm so worried in case the press find a way to crash or spoil the wedding and then there's the press helicopters, what if they blow over the tents or.."
