Win rubbed his cheeks on Bright's neck when Bright continued in a low voice "I'll get him tomorrow and break every bone in his body"

Suddenly the videos flashed in Win's mind and he lowered his eyes.
"You don't have to" He said in a low voice.

"What do you mean?" Bright asked, surprised "If I didn't kill him I won't be able to sleep"

Win raised his body and separated himself from Bright to look at his face "Let police handle it "

"Police my ass" Bright spat, his eyes cold "When have they ever did justice to anyone?"

"So you decide to take matter in your own hands?" Was what Win wanted to say but he zipped his lips and nodded. They can't keep fighting over same thing again and again

Bright opened his arms, gesturing Win to fall back into his embrace and Win did that.

"Why am I like this?" Bright asked himself. Win looked at him, curious.

"You did say your dad was a nobel person. He never even let you curse" Win recalled "Bright you can stop this and start a new life" His voice was hopeful as he held Bright's hand, interlocking their fingers

Bright sighed and licked his lips. He wanted to smoke so bad right now but he didn't want to suffocate Win with the harmful substance.

"My dad was a normal person. Just like any other middle class family, I used to live with my dad and mom in a small house" Bright said, staring at the ceiling , laying on his back

Win looked at him with curious eyes. Bright rarely talks about his past.

"Things weren't too good but we were happy. Dad and I would go fishing everyday and sell them. I loved that but Dad didn't really liked me helping him . He would always complain about how I should stay back at home and study. He really dreamt of me becoming a doctor"

Bright chuckled sadly as if he was laughing at the naive clueless days.

"When I turned 12, things got worse. We used to live in a small village and due to some clashes, some powerful people banned the river, refraining everyone from catching fishes."
Bright stared ahead with slight hatred "I remember not being able to eat anything for 2 whole days"

Win looked at him in surprise, his lips parted. It was strange to see how different his life was from Bright's

"Dad tried asking for money from people but everyone gave us cold shoulder. Huh who would do good deed with some poor people who most likely won't be able to pay back?" Bright asked, his face curved into a painful smile

"Mom would always complain to dad. They would fight everyday. That really made me  confuse. I thought they had a love marriage yet they still fought everyday" Bright continued "Mom would complain about poverty yet never once threatened to leave him"

"I used to be really fragile, Always getting sick. Lack of food really affected me bad so my dad stole a bread loaf. That was the first thing I ate after two days of starvation"

Win gulped, his mind going numb. Someone like him who was born with silver spoon in his mouth had no idea what life other people could be living.

"Life wasn't good but we were together until I went back to the river" Bright said, the grip of his hand tightening, almost crushing Win's fingers "There was a stupid rich kid fooling around the river, didn't even know how to swim"
