"That leaves Izuku Midoriya to take first place." Mic stated with a smile. Midoriya got up, causing a ripple of hands clapping and hollering to echo through the auditorium. He watched the green haired man smile as he accepted his scoring sheet before making his way down through back stage and down the stairs.
"And that is that!" Mic yelled as the lights began flickering on, one by one. "We saw a lot of great things here today and I want to congratulate every student in the building today! Every single one of you did an amazing job! Also, let's not forget about Fumikage Tokoyoami who did lighting and effects for the show today, who also ranked first place today!" He yelled as he pointed to the cat walk in the back on auditorium. Every person began cheering for their effects and sound person, resulting in Tokoyami waving back with a smile. "With that being said, everyone have a great weekend!" Mic yelled as Midoriya finally landed himself in front of his family and friends!
"You did so good baby, I'm so proud of you!" Inko cheered as she pulled her son in for a bone crushing hug.
"Thanks mom." He replied with a small smile as he hugged her in return. She was truly his biggest supporter.
"First place in both categories." Toshinori said with a smirk as he rested his hand on Izuku's shoulder. "That's quite an accomplishment." Midoriya pulled away from his mother slowly before turning to her boyfriend. Was this what a father figure was supposed to be like? Understanding, loving and supportive? Midoriya didn't say anything before lunging for Toshinori, hugging him as he tried to choke back tears.
"Thank you so much." He whispered as everyone's eyes widened in shock. "Thank you for supporting me and helping me." He whispered once more as Toshinori hugged him in reply. Midoriya was truly a great person and Toshinori couldn't wait to watch him grow into a fine, young musician.
"I'll always be here for that." The elder man replied as the two broke apart.
"Also, thank you for helping earlier." Midoriya said with a sad smile as he looked to his bruised eye. "Does your eye hurt?" Toshinori laughed in reply as he set his hand on the mop of green hair.
"It isn't anything I can't handle." He replied.
"So now that everything is over, are you two going to be telling me what happened?" Inko questioned as she crossed her arms, glancing between the two most important men in her life.
"Over a celebratory dinner, yes." Toshinori responded as he simply grabbed her hand. "You're welcome to join us." He said to the Bakugo family. Masaru couldn't help but smile at the way his own son watched Midoriya the whole time.
"I think we'll take you up on that offer." Mitsuki said with a small smile before the small group began making their way through the room.
"We'll meet you there." Bakugo intervened as he grabbed onto Midoriya, holding him in place. "We'll drive separately since we aren't coming back to the dorms afterwords."
"You're not?" Mitsuki questioned as she suspiciously flicked her eyes back and forth between the two boys.
"No, we have a celebratory after party at Yaoyorozu's house." Midoriya replied with a smile.
"Oh, okay. We'll meet you there then." Inko replied with a small smile as she latched onto her boyfriend. "We're going to the restaurant we went to for your birthday, if that's okay." She said with a soft smile.
"Sounds good mom." He replied before separating himself with the blonde. That restaurant had the best Katsudon for Midoriya and the best Spicy Curry for Bakugo, so of course it was a win-win.
"You know, I never got the chance to see your artwork today, I'm sorry." The blonde said with a small smile as the duo made their way across the street to the student parking lot.
