"How's it going kid?" Toshinori questioned as he stepped into the recording studio.
"It's going great." Midoriya replied with a yawn. "I just finished recording my last piece." He said with a sigh of relief as he leaned back in his chair.
"That's great Izuku." Toshinori said with a small smile. They may not have known each other very long, but it's felt like a life time. "I actually need to talk to you about the line up." He said as he took a seat in a chair opposite of Midoriya.
"What's up?" The green haired man questioned in reply as he pulled out Bakugo's music book.
"Will you be playing the piano in any of your solo songs?" He asked as he opened his big notebook.
"Yeah, why?" Midoriya replied in confusion.
"Well, you and Bakugo are the last two performing since you are closing the show with your duets, so we were trying to debate on who should go first. Where does that song fall in your lineup?" He questioned as he began scribbling on his paper.
"It's the last song." Midoriya replied with a small smile. Hearing Bakugo's name made his mood drop by quite a bit. He really missed his childhood friend at the second and couldn't wait until they could see each other again.
"Awesome." Toshinori said happily as he jotted that down. "This way we won't have to drag the piano in and out. Bakugo will perform his songs first, then you. After that, we'll jump straight into the duets. That sound good?" Midoriya thought about it for a minute before agreeing.
"Did you and Bakugo finish that duet yet?" Toshinori questioned in an unsettling tone.
"I am finishing it up now." Midoriya replied with a smile. "Would you mind actually giving it to him on your way out?" Midoriya questioned as he pulled a small letter from his bag before closing it in the music book. "He's in Mic's room, but I have to talk to Tokoyami about the effects for tomorrow." Midoriya pleaded as he nervously held out the book.
"I can do that." Toshinori responded with a laugh as he took the book from the green haired mans hand. "It's getting late, so go talk to Tokoyami and get some sleep. You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow."
"I will, thanks." Midoriya smiled kindly to the man before taking his leave. He quickly grabbed his music sheets before taking them down the hallway to the effects room. It was 10pm and he was exhausted. He ended up going to bed at one in the morning just to get up at five. Tomorrow would be no different either. Between Iida's photography, Uraraka's fashion, Todoroki's art plus his own. He didn't have a whole lot of time to do anything before Bakugo's performance started.
"Hey Midoriya. Did you bring a copy of the music sheets for me?" Tokoyami asked as he took a big drink from his coffee. He had to be more tired than anyone. He was responsible for the effects for the music performances and for the fashion show. The stress of his shoulders had to be pretty heavy.
"Yeah." Midoriya replied simply as he sat them down on the table in front of them. They slowly went through the songs, measure by measure, deciding on where to put certain effects in. Did he want color lights here or there? Did he want a picture in the back ground? How did he want the transitions to work? There was a lot to discuss and there wasn't a whole lot of time left.

"Hey Bakugo?" Toshinori questioned as he walked into the recording studio only four doors down.
"Hey, what's up?" The blonde questioned as he finished mashing the instruments for his last song.
"Izuku asked me to give this to you." He said simply as he handed the music book to the blonde.
"Thank you." He replied sadly as he took it from his hands. He was upset Midoriya didn't drop it off himself. He hadn't seen the green haired man since he gave him the notebook for the first time, and it was definitely taking his toll on him.
"Good luck tomorrow. We'll all be rooting for you." The UAE teacher said with a smile before closing the door behind him. The blonde didn't answer as he took a deep breath, nervously opening the notebook. This was it. Midoriya had officially finished the song and Bakugo was incredibly nervous. He responded well when he did the second verse, but anybody could do a complete 180. Upon opening it to the correct page, he saw a small folded letter sitting on top of the song.
His heart picked up as he stared at it. He really put his feelings out there, and he was terrified it was going to back fire. Slowly but surely, he picked up the letter and unfolded it.
Kaachan,
Here is the finished song! I separated it by who is singing what lines and what each of us will be playing on the piano, I hope you like it. I also wrote the effects in there. It's nothing too crazy, just a colorful spot light. If you like it, go ahead and give Tokoyami a copy. If not, let me know and we can change it.
Now that that is out of the way, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for believing in me and for always having faith in me. Thank you for always being by my side and helping me when I needed it the most. The last few weeks with you have been truly amazing. I won't be able to see you until we perform our duets, so I just wanted you to know that you were my inspiration. In life, in my art, and in my music. I have a few songs that I will be singing tomorrow that will be dedicated to you. I think you'll able to tell which one's. I hope you like them and I wish you the best of luck tomorrow! I'll be in the front row, supporting you with everything I have. Thank you again Kaachan. You don't know how much it means to me.
-Midoriya
Bakugo couldn't help but smile to himself as his face warmed up. The nerd does crazy things to him, but he couldn't complain one bit. He set down the letter before looking to the song. Of course, it was perfect. It was Midoriya who helped after all. His thoughts were interrupted by a small knock on the door.
"Bakugo?" Tokoyami questioned as he cautiously pushed the door open. "Midoriya said you had the last duet because you were looking over it. I'm getting ready to head out so I just wanted to see if it was all good to go." He explained as he stepped into the room.
"Um yeah." He replied as he handed the book over to him.
"I'll make a copy and bring it back to the dorms with me." Tokoyami said as he took the book, quickly exiting the room. Bakugo let out a content sigh as he dragged his notebook from his bag. He opened up to a blank page before picking up his pencil to respond to Midoriya's letter.
Deku,
The song looked great. Tokoyami is copying it now as I write this letter. I can't wait to perform it tomorrow with you. I also want you to know, you're my inspiration as well. I can't imagine what my life would be like right now if you weren't in it. You have changed me for the better and I couldn't be more thankful for that. You reminded me what music was truly about when I had honestly forgotten. You gave me hope for a future I couldn't see myself. I really don't know where I would be at without you. You are truly amazing and kind. You light up the room whenever you walk in, no matter how gloomy it is. I could go on forever about how amazing you are, but I just want you to know that I will continue to be there for you, even in your darkest days. Right by your side, forever. Also, you were my inspiration for a few songs I will be performing as well. I think you'll know them when you hear them. Make sure you get some sleep tonight, we have a big day tomorrow. I promise that I'll be sitting in the front row too, cheering you on with my whole heart.
-Bakugo
The blonde smiled at his handiwork before folding the note neatly. He wasn't the best when it came to using his words, so he hoped his music would be enough. He folded the note before putting it in his pocket and gathering his belongings. He quickly made his way through the empty school and to the dorms. He had a lot do as well tomorrow. He had to run through the duet now that it was completely done, he had to double check his effects with Tokoyami and he had to watch all of his friends performances as well. He wouldn't be getting any free time until he was done with his performances, not that he minded. It was going to keep him busy until he could see Midoriya again, which he couldn't wait for.
