"Pick a number 1-10!" Bakugo yelled over the wind blowing in their faces as they traveled down the highway.
"Six!" Midoriya yelled in reply as he relaxed against the blondes back. Bakugo continued down the highway as he began counting the exits. When he came to the sixth one, he took it. The boys had been driving for more than four hours with no real destination. The strange thing is, they weren't even tired of driving yet. They were enjoying the peaceful scenery that nature had been providing. There was something relaxing in just riding with the wind blowing in your face.
"Which way?" Bakugo asked as they came to a stop at the first intersection. The green haired man retracted his right arm before reaching for the coin in his pocket. He lightly closed his fist before bouncing the coin around a few times. He opened his hand to see their next turn.
"Left." He replied before stuffing the coin back into his pockets. Once the blonde felt Midoriya's arms wrap around him once more, he turned left. Bakugo was in dire need of a break from driving. He wasn't necessarily tired, but he needed to stop and take a break. He also needed to get some gas. He filled up three hours ago, but they had gone quite far from home. They drove in silence for two more miles before the blonde had spotted a gas station. He slowly drove to a pump, ready to get off. He waited patiently for Midoriya to climb off before standing himself.
"I'm going to grab a bottle of water. Want anything?" Midoriya questioned as he took his helmet off, excited to let his head breathe.
"Just some water." Bakugo replied as he slid his helmet off as well. Midoriya couldn't help but stare as Bakugo's unruly hair stuck to his forehead. He truly is handsome. Midoriya told himself.
"Something wrong nerd?" Bakugo asked more harshly than he intended to.
"N-no." Midoriya stuttered as his face began heating up. How could he be so careless to just stare at his beautiful face?
"Can I have my wallet then?" The blonde questioned in an unsure tone. It was times like this he wished he could read the nerds mind.
"Oh yeah!" Midoriya replied quickly, snapping out of his trance. He pulled the back pack of his shoulders before digging for both their wallets. He handed the blonde his before setting the bag down on the bike.
"I'll be back." Midoriya said before walking towards the building. I really need to get it together. I can't be doing stupid things like staring at him in public like that! It doesn't matter how good he looks. This is supposed to be a no strings attached relationship, I can't fall for him. Midoriya scolded to himself as he walked in the building. Little did he know, it was far too late for that. He had already fallen and just hasn't come to terms with that yet.
The green haired man quickly grabbed two bottles of water before walking to the register to pay. He couldn't help but glance outside to the blonde, who happened to be chatting with a cute girl with red hair. Anger quickly took over Midoriya's emotions as he handed the cashier his money. Why was it that every time they went to a gas station, somebody had to hit on Bakugo?
"Have a good day." The cashier said as he handed Midoriya his change. He mumbled a quick thanks before throwing the money into his wallet and grabbing the waters. When he began walking outside, the girl was already gone. He couldn't help but notice how the blonde was smiling as he finished putting gas into his bike.
"Here." Midoriya said curtly as he handed Bakugo the bottle of water.
"You good?" Bakugo questioned when he picked up on Midoriya's sour mood.
"I'm fine, let's get going." Midoriya replied before pulling his helmet on. He was far from fine though. He didn't understand why it bothered him so much to see Bakugo talk to girls. He wasn't even into girls for crying out loud.
