Izuku Midoriya, age 18, sat in his dorm room on a rainy Wednesday evening. His eyes focused in the window, watching the droplets fall to the bottom as he formed a race in his mind. He was rooting for the left one to win, but it ended up with a loss. He sighed as he pushed himself from his chair and lazily made his way to the bed. He fell into the bed, not bothering to take his house slippers off. The green haired man was stuck in a rut of depression and he was struggling immensely to get out of it. He tried medication, therapy, exercising, hanging out with his friend and forcing himself to be social, but nothing was working. Most days, he sat in his dorm room and ignored all of his friends. Every once in a while, his friends would force him out of his comfort zone. Much like today.

"Deku!" A high pitched voice rang out as the door shook slightly from a fist being repeatedly pounded on it. The green haired man let out a heavy sigh as he pushed himself from his bed. His best friend had told him they were having a movie night since there were no classes tomorrow and he was being forced to join. He made his way to the door, every step feeling like torture in his mind. He slowly opened the door to reveal a beaming Uraraka.

"Hey.." He mumbled as his voice trailed off as he looked to Uraraka's great brown orbs.

"Ready for the movie night?" She questioned with a wide smile. She knew Midoriya was stuck in a rut and hated that there was nothing that she could do. She tried to help in several different ways, but nothing ever seemed to work.

"Yeah." Midoriya replied with a sigh before wearing a smile. Uraraka knew it was a fake smile. It always was nowadays. The green haired man stepped out of his dorm room and into the dimly lit hallway to join his best friend. Having a movie night was better than having a game night, at least he didn't have to interact with anyone. He could sit quietly in the dark and ponder his life.

"You okay with horror? Ashido has been begging us to watch a scary movie for a while." She questioned as the duo stepped onto the elevator for the ground floor.

"That's fine." Midoriya replied emotionless as he watched the buttons for each floor light up as he felt more anxious the closer it got to the ground floor. He tried his best to hide his anxiety and depression, but some people have obviously found out. They were pretty good at not bringing it up, so he was okay with it.

"We have pop corn and snacks too!" The brunette claimed excitedly as they stepped off the elevator.

"I-I'm not hungry." Midoriya mumbled while keeping his gaze on the ground.

"Did you eat anything for dinner?" She questioned in a worried tone. "I don't think you ate anything at lunch either." She replied sadly as they made their way into the common room. Midoriya was regretting his decision as soon as he heard the loud voices of the class. He looked over the sea of his class mates, causing his chest to tighten. He really didn't want to be here.

"Where do you want to sit?" Uraraka questioned, pulling him from his thoughts. Midoriya quickly glanced around the room to see the only two spots that were open were between Iida and Mineta, or between Todoroki and Bakugo.

"Well, you probably want to sit by your boyfriend." Midoriya commented as he looked towards the class rep sitting in the front.

"We can ask Mineta to move." She suggested sadly as she looked to her best friend.
