Not even half way through the first chorus, most of his classmates, his family, his friends and even Kye stood up and cheered as loud as they could. Fighting and overcoming his depression was one of the hardest things he would ever have to do and he was doing it pretty well. His eyes wandered to all the people that had helped him immensely as he sang his heart out on the stage. He flashed a wide smile at Kye, who was incredibly proud of the man on stage before turning his attention back to his mom in the front row. She had happy tears rolling down her face as Toshinori held her close. Every single person in that room had seen how far the green haired man had come, and they couldn't be happier.
He jumped right into the song and received the same response from the previous one. When the music stopped, he became nervous as he remembered what was up next. The next two songs were completely dedicated to the fiery blonde with ruby red eyes. He only hopped they were good enough. He continued with his up beat songs as the next one began.
He couldn't help but be drawn to the smirk on Bakugo's face as he performed the song. This was one of the first songs he had started when he began to feel more than numb. It may not have been his best song, but for the sake of that, he had to perform it. When the song ended, he watched the blonde slowly make his way back stage. The last song was definitely out of his comfort zone, but for all the right reasons. He also got to showcase his talent for piano as well and he couldn't wait to perform it. He took a step back as Mic and Aizawa began rolling the piano to the center of the stage.
"You're doing great kid." Mic said with a small smile as they positioned the piano at an angle. "Keep it up." He whispered before rushing off the stage. His eyes flickered towards the blonde back stage. He was extremely thankful for the piano position since it gave him the perfect chance to look at the man he had dedicated this song to. He took a deep breath, deciding he had made the audience wait enough for his final solo song.
His gaze kept glancing back and forth between the blonde and his music sheet. It was hard to keep his eyes focused on the music when Bakugo was blushing like crazy while smiling to an idiot. Midoriya was happy he could make the blonde feel that way. When the song had ended, applause erupted through the auditorium. Mainly from his close friends and family who knew that was another sense of a love confession towards the blonde. When the song had ended, Midoriya stayed positioned at his piano while waiting for the crowd to die down. He looked towards his mom, who flashed a smile of amazement. She was truly proud of her son. He had accomplished so much in so little time.
"Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo." The crowd quickly became confused when the blonde had re-entered the stage. Only a handful of people knew they were going to be performing two duets, so naturally they didn't know what to expect. The blonde sat right next to his crush on the piano bench before giving him a smile.
