It Started With A Pun

I never really pictured Keira as the revenge type a girl to be honest, but then again, she has never had a relationship with somebody for this long. I do indeed wish that I had the same bond as Chris had with her.

I quickly paced down the hallways to Kiera's locker.

"So what's the plan?" I ask her.

She looked at me as if I forgot what she was talking about.

"It involves you taking your car to the nearest grocery store and buying the worst canned food you could possibly find." Her voice went from loud to quiet.

It bothers me that she would waste her time thinking and planning about him.
"No no, that's not happening." I insisted.

A strong set of puppy dog eyes were coming in right about now.

"Pleaseeeee. I really need to do this. It'll be like me moving on from him." She begged.

I rolled my eyes and agreed to drive my car over to the grocery store. Our morning break was almost over, so I briskly went to go start my car and drive to the market.

Canned dog food was the worst I could think of. I picked up 2 or 3 of beef canned dog food. Do I really want to know what she is going to do? I'm guessing no. I paid for the food and then went back into my car. She defiantly owes me one now.

Just when I began driving off from the parking lot onto the highway, my phone lit up. One new text from Keira.

Keira: where u at?

In one brief moment I looked down at my phone and went to text her back. I was almost done texting her when I looked up to see that a truck was about to collide with my vehicle. I swerved to the other side of the road, hoping that I didn't hit the truck. Just when I thought that everything was going to go okay, life has to take a turn for the worst on me. The last thing I saw before darkness was a silver cars head lights....
