17th of February, 2021, Glastonbury, England - Noah and Elisa's apartment

The beautiful tunes of a piano echoed through the living room of the small apartment in Glastonbury. Elisabeth was sitting behind the piano, her eyes closed as her fingers swiftly moved over the keys. It had been a while since she last played the piano, but she absolutely loved it whenever she got the chance to do it. She had already learned a lot from her brother and sister, but also from Noah. Lis liked to put the techniques she had learned to the test. She was playing a piece called 'La Valse D'Amelie', one of her personal favourites. A soft sigh escaped her mouth as she started swaying along to the music, enjoying the beautiful melody emanating from the instrument.

She had the whole apartment to herself right now. Noah was on a journey to Egypt and he had requested two friends of his, Leslie and Felwyn, to watch over their pets, Aztec and Lumi. Lis was all alone right now, but she didn't really mind that for once. She enjoyed the peace and quiet from time to time. Luckily she also didn't have to work for the next couple of days. Something else kept her busy though. Lis was very busy with planning the rebuilding of her former home, Manor Manderley, but who knew how long that was going to take. There was no time for any kind of stress or worry right now. She just wanted some relaxation. She just wanted some peace.

This moment of serenity unfortunately didn't last very long, for a loud thud could be heard against the window. Elisa tilted her head and opened her eyes, before looking in the direction of the noise. Suddenly she spotted Noah's pygmy owl, called Olmec, resting on the windowsill with a letter in his beak. As quickly as she could Elisabeth got up and walked towards the window, before kneeling down and opening it. Olmec quickly hopped inside and dropped the letter in front of Elisa, before hooting softly.

"Next time.. Try not to bump into the window again.. Okay?" Lis said with a soft smile on her face as she gently started petting the owl.

Olmec made a few cute noises of happiness, before he flew over to his own personal spot in the living room to rest up for a little while. In the meantime, Elisa started analyzing the letter. Within a matter of seconds she recognized the handwriting and as fast as she could she turned the envelope around. She spotted a golden wax seal with a compass and the letters N.E.C in them. This was a letter from Noah! The brown-haired witch walked over to the couch and sat down, before she started reading the letter that was inside of the envelope. The confusion in her gaze started to show more and more with each word she read. A cursed hourglass? In the Tomb of Asesa? Somewhere in Egypt? That didn't sound very pleasant at all. Lis knew how some mysterious Egyptian artefacts could be. Take the Mirror Of Illusions for example. That was one of the most terrible artefacts Lis ever had to deal with, but luckily that was over. This hourglass Noah was talking about seemed to intrigue her for some reason and with a quick nod she placed the letter down on the table in front of her and got up.

As soon as she entered the bedroom, she grabbed her brown suitcase from under the bed and opened it. She opened the closet and started skimming around for a little bit. She had no idea for how long she would be away so it would be a better idea to take some extra things. One thing was for certain though: In Egypt it was going to be unbelievably hot. Lis herself had only been to Egypt once before in her normal work attire and the heat was almost unbearable. Now she definitely was prepared for the warm temperatures of this sandy country. She quickly packed some breezy dresses, a jacket for the evenings if it were to get colder, night attire, a bag of toiletries, some make-up and of course some books. If she was going to leave straight away, she realized she had to change into something a bit more breezy now as well. Lis quickly put on dark blue dress pants, put on a white blouse and rolled up her sleeves, before putting her hair in a ponytail and putting on her blue hat again. Instead of her standard black heels she put on some short brown boots.
