Alatreon POV

I wake from something poking my cheek. I open one of my eyes to see a boy and a girl both poking me in the nose. I snort causing them both to fall onto their butts in fear. I slowly get up on my legs to show off to these humans. They both look in awe and shock at how majestic I am, well that is what I think they are looking at me for.

In reality however......

Boy: It looks so old!

My eye twitches in annoyance.

Girl: No, its not like that.

I almost smiled.

Girl: It looks to be a 3 year old dragon.

I almost pounced right there.

How dare they assume my age. I will have a nice talk with their parents after this.

"Stop with the jokes"

They both gasp in surprise.

I sniff the air only to smell something I haven't smelled for weeks.

Silvia.

But first, I have to take these kids to their parents.

"Where are your parents?"

They both look down in sadness already answering my question. Eh, having 3 kids isn't that bad.

You may be thinking 'Why are you taking in kids so easily?'......

The answer is because I see myself in them. Lonely, no friends, no help, no family, and no trust. Literally, you can only trust yourself.

"What are your names?"

Boy: Jack!

Girl: Brittney!

"Well Jack and Brittney, you are coming with me to visit my daughter......"

Jack and Brittney: OK!

Silvia POV

Ever since my so called 'mom' betrayed me and died, I have been on my own the entire time. I have resorted to stealing just to survive one week. I steal food, money, and even materials from blacksmiths.

Silvia: 'I just wish Alatreon was here to help me.'

Random Person: Have you heard?

Random Person 2: Heard what?

Random Person: A dragon has completely wiped out a battlefield in seconds.

Random Person 2: Really?

Random Person: Yep.

A dragon? Could it be.......Alatreon?

Random Person 2: Is that a dragon?

Random Person: Its heading over here!

Random Person 2: Run for your lives!

I loom to see something approaching me at a high speed. I look to see...........

A smile appears on my face as I watch him land in front of me. I can just feel the tears come out of my eyes. He said three words that almost made me burst out crying in joy.
