"You're gonna be 17 in august. You're gonna be okay I promise. No matter what, you're gonna be fine. I swear"
"Okay but I'm nervous to do it."
"I'll hold your hand"
"Thank you but how do I take it?"
"Just squat and then pee over it or pee in a cup?"
"Give me a plastic cup"
"Okay"
She runs downstairs to grab a cup and then she comes back up with one in her hand and some water
"Here" she says out of breathe
"I'm out of shape"
"No you're not. You're perfect but i'm getting nervous so I need to do it now before I get too scared to do it"
I make her get out so I can pee in it and then take the test.
I pull down my pants and then do what I need to do .. and then I flush and wash my hands
She walks back in and then we get prepared
"Ready?"
"No"
"Here"
She grabs my hand and then she holds it tight
I breathe and then put it in to let it soak up
"1 .. 2 .. 3 .. 4 .. 5" I take it out and then i turn it upside down and let it set for 3 minutes

"What will I tell my mom? What will I tell my family? What will I tell pa-"
"Y/n. Calm down."
"I'm just not ready for this"
"It's okay"
She brings me in and then hugs me. I start to tear up and then she lets out and wipes my tears Away
"I'm here for you and so is everyone else"
"What about school?"
"You'll figure it out"
