* this is a sequel to my other short story "the night we met". since i wrote it when i was like 13 and the writing is honestly horrible, i'm going to try and make this book as unrelated as possible so you all don't have to undergo the mess that is reading that book. the characters and backstory will be the same and most of the background information is already explained in "the night we met", but i'm going to try and re-explain it here *
