After the death of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, Draco Malfoy finds himself without a purpose to live. Gone is his family's standing in society, it's reputation and the benefits that came out of it. All that's left is a stained name and a fortune worth more than he could ever spend.

So, when he gets a letter from his old school offering him the post of the Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher, he takes it hoping that being back at Hogwarts could give him a new purpose.

Could a chance encounter with an auror-in-training be his serendipity?
