Chapter Fourteen: New Companions

To Kion

Kion is heading towards the outlands, Fuli runs up, "Kion, you're back." she said
"Hey Fuli, want to help me save Rani?" Kion asked
"Woah Kion, we need to discuss a plan." Fuli said
"I have a plan, I use the roar." Kion said
"Kion, you're angry and tired, you need to rest." Fuli ordered
"No, I'm not resting, Rani's life is in danger, that's more important right now than resting, now if you want to help me you can, if you don't than go help Vitani with a new jackal pack." Kion ordered
"Fine Kion, but I'm telling everyone, if you don't come back, I will send everyone to the Outlands." Fuli said
Kion and Fuli starts walking away, "Everyone just leaves Rani in the Outlands, why would they leave her there, I will save her my self." Kion thought
"Kion, just as ignorant as he was during our journey to the Tree of Life, shoot, I forgot the reason why we couldn't save Rani." Fuli turns around but she doesn't see Kion anywhere, "Kion where did you go.
Kion enters the Outlands, he starts looking for Rani, Nemesis sees Kion, "What, I thought he was gone." he glared at Kion
"I thought so too but I guess he somehow escaped." Fyre said
"He's probably here to save Rani, bring her here, I have a plan." Nemesis ordered
Fyre runs to the cave where Rani is, Nemesis jumps down from the rock, "Kion, welcome to the outlands." Nemesis said
"Nemesis, give up Rani now." Kion ordered
"Oh Rani, your queen, oh no way." Nemesis said
Fyre walks out of the cave holding Rani, "Let her go now, you know I have to roar, and you know that I mastered it." Kion ordered
"Oh I know you do, but I also know that you have problems controlling when you're angry." Nemesis said
"I can control it just fine." Kion said
"Oh Kion Kion, You're also tired, I can see it, but I have a deal to make you, leave the Outlands, or her head." Nemesis said
"I choose to save her and leave the Outlands." Kion said
"Ok, if that's your choice, Fyre, go ahead." Nemesis ordered
Fyre bites on Rani's neck, he only inflicts pain, but it was enough to make Rani scream in pain.
Kion looks at Rani, he snares his teeth, and clouds starts getting dark, "Kion, take my orders, leave now, than I'll tell him to stop." Nemesis said
"Kion, Take his orders." Rani yelled
"Shut your mouth." Nemesis ordered
Fyre starts biting harder, Rani screams louder, Kion sees this, the clouds get dark and darker, until he had enough, but he wasn't going to roar.
"ALRIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH." Kion yelled
"Fuli was right." Kion whispered
"What was that Kion?" Nemesis asked
"nothing, I'm leaving." Kion said snaring his teeth at Nemesis
"Actually Kion, I've changed my plans, I wanted you dead, and I am going to make it happen." Nemesis said
"What do you mean?" Kion asked
Nemesis' lions jump down and grabs Kion, Kiburi comes out of a cave, "Ah, if is isn't the leader of the lion guard, or at least he was, until someone took his spot." he said
"Kiburi, leave him be, I'll take care of him." Nemesis ordered
"He better be dead by morning." Kiburi said
Shupavu pops up, "Nemesis, new jackal pack, in the pridelands." she said
"Shupavu, not a good time, we'll talk later." Nemesis said
Fyre and Nemesis throws Kion and Rani into a cave, alright, "Shupavu, show me where these jackals are." Nemesis ordered
Kion and Rani are trapped in the cave together, Kion looks at Fyre, "You, get me out of here, NOW." Kion ordered
Fyre just sits there and watches, "Kion, there's no point, he's not gonna move." Rani said
"You're just giving up." Kion said
"Please Kion, come sit here." Rani said
Kion sees bite marks on her neck caused by Fyre, "Is you neck okay?" Kion asked
"It's fine, it's just a little sore." Rani said
Kion walks up to Rani, and sits but a little further away than usual, "Is this too close?" Kion asked
"No, I wanted to say, I'm sorry for flipping out earlier, that red lizard told me that you kissed Vitani, but then I found out the truth, she was lying, so I want looking for you, but of course she scared you made you jump off a cliff and fall into the river." Rani explained
"You know, she kissed me, but I didn't enjoy it, I just don't know why she couldn't control herself." Kion said
"Because you're good looking Kion." Rani said
Kion laughs, "Yeah, I guess I am." he said
"You guess?" Rani asked
Fyre rolls his eyes and turns around, "Ok, fine, I am." Kion said
"You wanna." Rani said before getting interrupted
"Not right now, plus, he's will be watching us anyway." Kion said
"Yeah, he just trapping us in here." Rani said
"Oh hey, I just learned that I have an adopted brother." Kion said
"Oh, a brother, I bet he'll be a good brother." Rani said
"Actually he left before I was even born." Kion said
"Oh, I'm sorry Kion." Rani said
"Okay, let's stop talking about family, he's listening." Kion said.
