Chapter 14

''Victor hurry up! We're late already!'' Gloria yelled at her brother as she took a sprint. 

''I can't help it that you wanted to buy a  roserade tea first! We missed our train thanks to that!''

"Hush hush!" Gloria yelled at her brother, totally out of breath.

They were headed towards Dappled Grove together, where Gloria was supposed to meet up with Cane. They missed the train to the wild area thanks to Gloria's 'need' for a cup of tea at the station, so their new friend had been waiting for half an hour now. After a few minutes of running they saw Cane standing near a tall tree, scrolling through his Rotomphone.

"Cane!" Gloria yelled out his name loudly.

The boy looked up and stuck his hand up in the air with a big smile. The twins came to a halt in front of him.

"Victor, you came too?" He asked him with a sweet voice.

The brown haired boy nodded firmly. "I still don't want to leave Gloria alone with this crazy stalker hanging around." he puffed out.

"How protective of you. You two really share a good bond, don't you?" Cane asked them with a cooked head.

Gloria was silent for a few seconds. They really did share a strong bond, but she had a feeling that her brother only came along because he didn't trust a single hair on Cane's body. Victor wasn't the only one, Hop and Luxio both seemed to dislike her new friend. Luxio was staying at Sonia's lab now along with the two Tauros and Corviksquire that gone wild earlier to research them, or find any traces of their old owners. Gloria really wanted to bring along Luxio again, since she developed a strong kinship with the electric Pokémon. But she knew that he was in good hands with Sonia and Hop.

"Alright, shall we start? I've got something for you, I think it will help us out!" Cane said loudly as he reached for his bag.

Gloria and Victor shared a confused look with each other before she took a step forwards to get closer to Cane.

"Now, try wearing this." The low yet kind voice softly said as he hovered his arms around Gloria's head.

Gloria wanted to take a step back before noticing he had a large necklace hanging between his fingers. An odd piece of stone was hanging on the necklace. It was purple stone, but it looked cracked. It was almost as if it was apart of an even bigger stone but got ripped apart from it. The ginger boy closed the necklace around her neck and took a few steps backwards again.

"What is this?" Victor asked him with one raised eyebrow.

"It's something my brother found. He told me to give it to the hero, so here we are! He said it was found at the place Eternatus crashed in years ago!" He explained kindly with a tilted head.

Gloria held the weird stone between two fingers, inspecting it closely. How strange. She thought to herself. She was almost sure she could see a form of movement within.

"Alright Champion. Please let out Eternatus." he asked her sternly.

The young champion hesitated a moment. Letting out Eternatus would bring a lot of attention to them, since so many people feared the 20 meters tall Pokémon. It would be hard to miss. But, it seemed to be quiet today in the wild area... So it wouldn't hurt to bring him out for a short time now, would it? Gloria grabbed Eternatus's pokeball and threw it up in the air. The gigantic Pokémon flew out of it with a loud roar. It was floating above the

Gloria started to tremble. She could actually feel it! She shared a glance with Eternatus before both looking at Victor. Gloria shakingly raised up one arm in the air, to both Victor and Cane's surprise Eternatus started to float higher now too. Gloria's body was giving off a red glow again, but she seemed to feel fine.
