"Micheals' Event Planning huh?" I ask with a small smile. I was not expecting that.

He gives me a shy grin "It's a family owned business. My mom plans, dad does the books, I do the marketing and the rest of my siblings usually help when and where it's needed"

I don't know what it was about him but suddenly I didn't feel so weird about him knowing we live in the same city. Maybe it was the validation of a business card?

"Sounds like a lot of fun" I say putting the card in my pocket.

"Well Ms. Salinas have a safe trip home and I hope that we'll see each other soon" he takes my hand in his leaving a small kiss on it and looks up at me giving me a quick wink.

The kiss left tingles all over my body, and the wink sent me the rest of the way to heaven.

He walks away back to his table with a few other also huge handsome looking men.

I went back to the kitchen to start my long goodbyes with everyone. Unfortunately I was distracted and fixated on the last thing he just said to me.

"I hope that we'll see each other soon"

After the goodbyes from everyone at the restaurant I made my way back to the dorms. My parents would be picking me up there in a about an hour.

On the way home I thought more about that night. If there wasn't an attack what the hell happened to me?

I remember the weird ass dreams I was having. I was running through the woods,  and I remember stopping and looking around and seeing a silver and grey wolf emerge from the dark, his eyes so bright and blue they looked like they were glowing. Throughout the two weeks I was waiting for the results I kept having dreams similar to that, small snippets of being in the woods with that wolf following me around.

When I got back to my dorm I already had all my things packed to go. Friday was technically the last day for move out but there were a few more stragglers when I got there. After about 15 minutes sitting in my dorm I got a text from my mom that her and my dad had arrived. I smiled widely and grabbed a few of my smaller bags and quickly made my way downstairs to meet them. I usually tried to see them every other weekend but I skipped the last weekend. I set my things on the ground and gave my mother a tight hug. I've been needing this so much. My dad put my few bags in the back of his truck and joined in on our tight embrace.

"We're so proud of you Mija" my dad says giving both of us one last tight squeeze.

We pulled away and made our way back upstairs to grab the last of my things.

"So when's the graduation ceremony?" My mother asks as we grabbed my last few boxes.

"June 13th" I say excitedly putting my box in the back of the truck.

"Okay great we have some time to plan your party!" My mom says excitedly.

We did one last look around my dorm before leaving and this sudden relief came over me. I was finally done, my parents first college graduate.

The ride home was long. Even though we were only 2 hours away, my excitement to see the rest of my family made it feel so much longer.

I was so eager to be with my whole family again. I was the oldest of my parents children, Alexandria and Julio, at 21 going on 22 this summer, then there was Phoebe my younger sister who was 17, and Julio Jr. our little brother who was 8 and we just called Jr. My mother was an only child, so when my grandmother  retired she came to live with us, and has lived with us pretty much since I was a kid. While my parents worked to give us a good life my grandma was the one who took care of us while they worked long hours. Her, my mother and I were exactly alike in most ways. Phoebe and Jr. were more active and adventurous much like my dad, but me my mom and my grandmother were all very laid back. It's sort of surprising how opposite my parents were but how happy they were together.

I was actually pretty close to Phoebe. When we were younger we of course fought more but once we got older we grew to appreciate each other more. As I mentioned before she was a lot like my dad. She was involved in sports most of her childhood and even more so now. She currently plays softball for her high school, and Julio plays soccer for an after school activity. I was the nerd according to Phoebe. I liked reading and being prompt with getting my homework done. I love art, mostly painting, so I have my bachelors in Fine arts now. Lucky for me my parents always supported me in my degree choice. They always said as long as I was happy and could take care of myself they didn't care what I did for a living. I currently had a job lined up to start at the end summer working as an artist assistant. There was a local houston artist who needed an assistant while he was working on a few pieces for a gallery he is hosting in the spring and he needs to start soon.  I was super nervous but mostly excited about all the experience I would be getting.

After about 20 minutes of trying to keep myself occupied I decided to try and sleep the rest of the way home. I put in my earbuds and rested my head on the window falling into a deep sleep with the same silver and grey wolf playing in my dreams.
