I let out a shaky sigh as I flung open my eyes to glance at my surroundings;

I was cornered

Mikasa and Armin stood before me; their blades held tightly in their hands. Faces of hate and worry plastered on them,

My eyes widened as I stared at all the soldiers that surrounded us;

When did I get here? Why are they pointing guns at us!?

The sudden realization that danger was surrounding us made me panic, I tried to stand up; placing the palms of my hands to the floor to support myself.

It was only then when I noticed something heavy placed on my left shoulder.

Eren

His right arm was slung sternly around my neck; his head bend down wards, his eyes stared to flicker open out of his deep slumber; teal eyes dark and animalistic.

"Eren?" I whispered

No answer.

"Eren." I say more sternly as I shook his shoulder roughly,

"I kill you all..."

"Your all going to die..."

An insane smile stretched across his face; his eyes reflected hate and death

"E-Eren...?!" I said; quickly shoving his arm off my neck,

His eyes shot open in alarm as has fell backwards due to his loss of balance.

"Did you here that!"

"He said we where going to die!"

"He is one of them!"

Shouts and screams where heard everywhere; soldiers screaming in fear at us, pointing fingers, readying guns.

I felt eyes burrowing into my head; I felt them judging me, whispering things.

I'm not one of them

I'm on humanity's side

But fear is far stronger then logic.

"Are you human!?"

"Or titan?!"

A voice shouted.

I blinked in confusion before turning towards Eren.

He looked up towards the man; his eyebrows furrowed.

"I am human!" He called back, thumping his fists on the floor in front of his kneeling body.

The man watched us carefully, his eye twitching every few seconds.

It was only then I noticed the canons lining the wall above us, my fellow cadets of the 104th squad stood there; watching. Waiting.
