Chapter 25: The Loop

Start from the beginning

". . . You have a point."

So he saw Bendy?

"So you saw Bendy?" Buddy translates for Wally.

"Uh. .  no, he said his name was Ink." Sammy explains.

"Then what happened to Bendy?" Alice mutters.

Pov: ?????

I wake up, I have no idea where I am.

Very slowly I start to stand up, I was laying face down in a puddle of ink.

I hope I didn't swallow that. I think as I look around.

What was the last thing I remember?

I don't know. . .

First. . . what is my name? That should be the first thing I figure out, after figuring out where I am, of course.

"Who are you?" I hear a strangely familiar voice say, I turn around and see a throne ontop of projectors, and sitting on the throne is a demon made of ink, who also looks familiar.

"I. . . don't know. ." I say cautiously.

He stands up and walk towards me, I take a step back, he immediately grabs my arm, he then puts his hand on my face, he's moving my face around, examining me with his unseen eyes, which are covered in ink.

"Stay here." He orders, "I will be right back."

He disappears in the ink

Pov: Ink

I sit down on my throne.

How am I supposed to deal with The Protectionist? I don't know what might happen if I kill him, especially now that his soul is back. .

Why do I even care? I literally tear his head off whenever I get the chance to. . .

Meeting Linda changed me.

Speaking of Linda. .  what happened to her?

I hear a noise, I look around the room, I see some kind of. . . Alice Angel standing up.

"Who are you?" I growl, she immediately turn around, I freeze.

I've never seen an Alice with a glowing halo. . . . Then again, I've only seen two Alices, demented Alice with a melted face and halo, and perfect Alice with no halo at all. . . .

This is the most perfect version of Alice I have ever seen. . .

There's something familiar about this Alice.

"I. . . don't know." The Alice replies.

I walk over to her, she tries to run and I quickly grab her by the arm, spinning hee towards me, I put a hand on her face.

She isn't melting at my touch. .  strange. . . everyone here melts when I touch them. . .

I move her face around, examining her. . .

I see golden ink. . .

Golden ink. . . the same stuff Henry writes with. .  .

The same thing Linda's spirit was made of

No.

No

No

No

No

No

NO

NO

NO

NO

NO

NO

NO

NO!!

This. . . Alice is Linda. . . the longer I look at her, the less she looks like an Alice. . . . and more like Linda. . .

"Stay here." I order. "Ill be right back."

I disappear into the ink, I appear right outside the music studio, underneath the hole Henry fell in.

It took me a moment, but I found it.

I pick up the piece of paper, I then carefully remove the ink from it. It is still in perfect condition.

I go back into the ink and emerge in front of the Alice Angel, I show her the letter, she takes it.

"Henry?" She mutters.
"Henry Stein? No. . . Henry Emily. ."

I wait.

She stumbles, dropping the letter, I quickly grab her.

"Henry started the loop. . . I got trapped here. . . I was supposed to be here to free him so he can free our daughter. ." She mutters, I see the tears forming in her eyes.

"I failed. . ."

"No! No you did not! This just means that you can go find and interact with him!" I say quickly.

She looks at me.

"You both will be able to get out of here, your daughter and all those other children will be freed. You just need to have faith in yourself and Henry."

She stares at me for a few moments.

"Now, I'm going to teach you how to travel through ink, then I'll take you to Sammy, Boris, and Malice.

"Malice?"

"Susie Campbell's twisted version of Alice Angel."

"Oh."

"Yeah." I remember something.

The reel.

"One second." I say to Linda as I ink-travel to the vault, I walk over to the box where The End should be, I open the box and freeze.

It isn't broken. Why isn't it broken? Why is it fixed?

He played the reel. . . that somehow fixed it. . .
And it dragged the souls back. . .

The Searchers, Lost Ones, Boris clones, Alices, and probably some of the Butcher Gang. . .

They are all workers again.

What would happen if I break it? I think as I slowly grab the reel.

Only one way to find out.

I throw it on the ground. . . the building shakes. . . then nothing.

I cautiously walk over to the reel, it's perfectly intact.

It appears that breaking it won't be an option anymore.
