I came as soon as I got the call. I can't believe I'm finally going to see my baby girl again after all these years. I knew deep down in my heart that my baby was still here.

Five years and she's been looking at us the whole time. Jay said as we entered the elevator.

Jay that doesn't matter. The only thing I care about is my baby and how she's doing. I told him as we made our way down the hall and stopping at her door.

You think she'll understand? He asked

She's five Jay the only thing she understands is that two complete strangers are coming to take her from the only family she knows. I said sadly

Let's just get her home. He said and we both entered seeing her with a much older girl

Hi I'm Cori and I was the one that called you. The girl said

How? Where's your mother? I asked and she shook her head

My mom can't find out that I called you. I just want my sister to have a real family and if that means that she has to leave then so be it. Cori said grabbing a small suitcase.

How do you know that this is our daughter? I asked

My mom keeps everything including baby bracelets. I wanted to make an album for her birthday with all of our memories. That's when I saw that my mom had five. She said

Five? I asked

Yeah my mom had twins three days before you had Brooklyn. The boy died the next day and the girl came home but she had to stay on a breathing machine at first it was temporary but later that day when I went to see her my mom had taken the machine off of her and I saw her put my sister in the tub and she held her down. The next day she went to the hospital and came home with Brooklyn saying that the doctor said she didn't need the machines anymore but the older she got the more she I could see that she wasn't my real sister. I just didn't want to loose another sibling. She said and we all heard the car pull up.

Is that your mom now. I asked

Yeah you have to hide quick go in the room across the hall and take this key and lock the door. She never goes in there I'll knock when it's clear take Brooklyn and get far away or my mom won't stop until she takes her again. Cori said and I looked at my baby girl sleeping peaceful.

Cori whose car was that in the driveway? My mom asked

I don't know maybe someone took a wrong turn. I said

Ok well where's your sister I have a surprise for both of you. She said

Um she napping but she should be up soon. I told her.

Ok well I guess I can go ahead and tell you. James is taking us on vacation to Dubai. She said smiling

I don't want to go anywhere with James. Why would you let him back in the house after the last time. I said

You stop trying to be grown and that won't happen again. She said and I knew I had to get Brooklyn out of the house tonight.

You should have drowned me too. I mumbled but I guess she heard me because next thing I noticed her fist was connecting with my face.

Don't play with me Cori now take your ass in that room and fix your face. You need to be packed by twelve. She said and that's when I knew tonight was my only chance.

Come on you have to hurry. I said after the Carters opened the door

Cori where are you? Who is that? Brooklyn asked and I pushed her back in the room with my hand covering her mouth

Brooke remember when I told you where going to meet your real mommy and daddy? I asked

Yeah. She said trying to get out of the room

Ok these are the Carters and they're your parents and at twelve they're going to take you home. I told her before opening a 9-1-1 chat.

CORI: MY NAME IS CORI RENEE KNOWLES AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT MY MOM KIDNAPPED MY LITTLE SISTER FROM HER REAL PARENTS. HER NAME IS BROOKLYN NICOLE CARTER AND MY MOM LET'S HER BOYFRIEND TOUCH ME IN WAYS I DON'T WANT TO BE. I'M ONLY SIXTEEN AND I'VE BEEN FORCED TO HAVE TWO ABORTIONS BECAUSE OF HIM.
OPERATOR: What's the address?
CORI: 6240 BROWN ST. PLEASE HURRY SHE'S MAKING US BOARD A PLANE AT THREE.

I just wanted to get my baby and leave. I didn't know what Cori said but within the next thirty minutes there were cops banging on the door.

Tracy Manning you're under arrest for  Misappropriation of Human Eggs and Embryos  and kidnapping in the first and second degree. You have the right to remain silent anything you say or do can and will be held against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney if you can't afford an attorney one will be appointed for you. The officer said putting the handcuffs on and escorting her out. She didn't even say anything she just left.

Cori are you going to be okay do you have someone to call. I asked

I called my dad. But what does that mean? Misappropriation of Human Eggs and Embryos. She asked and I looked it up

It means that she stole Embryos and used them to conceive. I said

So she's not my mom either?  She said smiling

Well technically no neither of your parents are your actual parents so legally they would have to take your DNA and do a break down to figure out where the egg and sperm came from.  I told her

Aren't you a doctor? Can you do it? She asked

Well I would need clearance and I.....

Officer Chad I'm going to take the girls to my office and do a full check up. I told him

Sure thing Dr. Carter let us know if you need anything. He said and we all rode to my office in silence.
