"Okay, I will come with." Sonic said

"You don't have to, nothing special..." Amy stated

"Well we have go now, my dad is at the Möbius police station." Amy said walking away

"What for if you don't mind me asking?" he asked

"Drunk and disorderly." Amy sighed,"You really don't have to go." she said

"No, no, it's fine, I really don't mind." Sonic said following Amy

Amy and Sonic walked through the woods which seemed like forever then they finally got to Amy's van, they hopped in. They rode in silence until they got to the police station.

"Just wait here, stay in front, in the passenger seat I mean." Amy said turning off the car and getting out

Sonic thought to himself for a few minutes, he was reaching for the radio until he heard Amy's angry voice from the slightly open window.

"Well dad I wouldn't be angry if I didn't have to pick you up from the police station every other night!" Amy said

"Oh c'mom don't be like that!" he pleaded

"Dad, just get in back, buckle up and shut up." Amy hopped back in

Sonic looked at her then looked away, again they rode in silence except this time there is there is tension between Amy and her father.

"I guess Amy has to deal with this often... I would've never guessed, she seems so bubbly and happy..." he sighed quietly,"No wonder why she doesn't drink..." he thought to himself as he looked out the window

They arrived at Amy's father's home,"C'mon dad, let's go." she said getting out

"Hey sunny boy, help me out here." he said to Sonic

Sonic got out and helped Amy's dad up and out of the van, he followed Amy up stairs to his apartment.

"I can't believe you dad... I don't know why I believe you when you say you're going to quit drinking..." Amy said quietly

They got to his apartment, Sonic set him down on his couch. He grabbed his guitar and started playing.

"You know what Amy bear?" he asked

"What dad." Amy answered

"I will become famous soon, be the biggest star yet.." he said playing his guitar more

"Dad, stop it!" Amy said sternly

"Stop what?" he asked still playing

"You have your hopes up high for a broken dream!" Amy said angrily

"Aww c'mon don't say that, I just haven't had my big break yet!" he whined

"You've been saying that for years! It hasn't happened! I'm so tired of this! Of it all! Ever since mom died you become a drunk! I'm embarrassed to call you my father!" Amy said
