"You never lose, either you win or you learn."

A/N:
Greetings! This was one of the many lessons I've learned throughout my life. I experienced it quite literally when one of my English teachers made me write a short text in order to see if I'm capable of participating in a story writing contest. I did wonderful on the tryout, however, on the actual competition I totally failed and I knew it. Nonetheless, I went back home happy because I realized that this short passage I wrote as an attempt (on the tryout) was a great idea for a novel to create (here on Wattpad). So I practically felt like a winner, even though I lost the competition (because either way there was only one ultimate winner - no second, no third place, nothing like that, just a "thank you for taking part" certificate). The book I mentioned is currently in my "drafts" section along with many others due to a need of major editing. I hope you liked this chapter. Until next time!
