VI. I AM WHAT?

The wolves flew backwards and others didn't stand anymore. But she missed three more wolves so she shot a spell again "Protego Horribilis!"

This time she made a barrier preventing the wolves from running nearer instead they started trying to break it by biting it and destroying it with their claw.

They stopped running and The Pevensies and Mr Beaver looked at her in confusion and shock.

"Don't look at me like that," Amy said when she noticed them looking at her like a lunatic

"How did you do that?" Susan asked looking very frightened and confused.

"This is not the time. I'll tell you if we would even survive!" She spat. "We have to go! I am not that strong the spell will worn out anytime soon"

"Right," Mr Beaver said but still looking at her weirdly. They started to run back to Mr and Mrs Beaver's house.

"Hurry mother! They're after us!" Mr Beaver said as soon as they went inside their house.

"Oh, right then," Mrs Beaver said then started packing things

"What's she doing?" Peter asked panicking.

"Oh, you'll be thanking me later" She answered while still packing foods "It's a long journey and Mr Beaver gets cranky when he's hungry"

"Well, I'm cranky now!" Mr Beaver replied.

Mrs Beaver together with Susan and Peter continue to pack things and Amy started to help them using her magic. "Say everything you'll need Mrs Beaver"

"We don't have much time for that, dear"

"We will save a lot of time. Just say it" Amy answered quickly

Mrs Beaver said everything she needs and the said things went flying into the bag. "How did yo-" Mrs Beaver didn't finish her sentence when they heard the wolves started to break the hut

"This way children!" Mr Beaver said opening a secret passage. Mrs Beaver, Lucy and Susan were the first ones to go while Peter tries to carry the bag but it was too heavy. Amy shrink it into a pocket-size that made Peter look at her in amazement

"Peter! Go on" She yelled

"Y-you first" Peter replied

"Just go! I'll hold them off" Amy fought

"But -"

"Just go!" Peter quickly went inside the tunnel followed by Amaryllis.

They ran to the tunnel following Mr Beaver who knew the exit of the passage of course

"Badger and I dug this. Comes out right near his place" Mr Beaver stated while running

"You told me it led to your mum's!" Mrs Beaver replied

"Lucy!" Susan exclaimed as Lucy stumbles. Peter helps her stand up but they heard growls from the distance

"They're in the tunnel" Lucy whispered

"Quick! This way hurry!" Mr Beaver exclaimed

"Run!" "Quick, quick, quick"

They ran frantically only to stop when Mr Beaver doesn't know which way it is

"You should've brought a map!" said Mrs Beaver which Mr Beaver angrily answered "There was no room next to the jam!"

Mrs Beaver was about to fight back but they heard the growl of the wolves getting nearer and nearer.

"Quick this way!"

They ran once again until they finally reached the exit but the wolves found them making all of them panic
