JonJon was one of those kids who carried the air of mystery around him.
Being called a creep was his normality. It was escalated quickly, from being shunned by his own family and social rejection to being bullying throughout his school years. It reached the point where he decided to end his own life.
He was so close. Already made up his mind, he put his hands up on a railing of the tallest bridge in town. Out of nowhere, a warm tiny hand touching one of his.
He jumped a little before turning to look at the mysterious figure beside him. His eyes went wide. It was Kat, the most popular girl in school.
"Your life matters to me." it was her final words before she left.
The next day at school, people talked about Kat dying in the house fire 2 nights ago.
He entered his bedroom that afternoon to find Kat reading his comic book on his bed. She flashed him the prettiest smile.
Maybe his life had a meaning after all.
