Chapter 1 Colter: part II

(Y/n's POV)

May 1899

You hide behind the shed Dutch told you to hide behind and then some people come out and by the looks of them there O'driscolls and you pull out your Cattlemen revolver and before they shoot Dutch you two outside if the cabin and the one on the window Arthur shoots the guy that comes out of the outhouse and shoots the one that starts to run away and you say.

Y/n: These goddamn O'driscolls.

Dutch: What are they doing here.

Y/n: Might be the same reason as us Colm's bounty is nearly as big as yours.

You grab some canned food and put it in your satchel and you go up the ladder and you see some ammo for your revolver and take it and you head outside and Dutch says.

Dutch: Y/n check the barn over there, Micah check the house in case we missed anything.

You head over to the barn and open it and then when you enter an O'driscolls jumps you and say.

O'driscoll: You bastard shot my cousin!

Y/n: Well he started it!

You then punch the guy repeatedly and Dutch comes over with a cigar in hand and say.

Dutch: What happened here?

Y/n: This bastard jumped me!

Dutch: See if he knows anything useful.

You beat the guy a couple of times and  he says when his gang hideout is and Dutch says.

Dutch: Do what you want with him I don't care but bring that horse to Arthur when your done.

You choke out the O'driscoll and you calm the horse down and you hitch on the hitching post and then there screaming inside the house and Arthur says.

Arthur: Micah what the hell are you doing!?

You Arthur and Dutch rush inside and you so a woman throwing things at Micah and then she grabs a knife but you calmly approach her and say.

Y/n: We mean no harm we have to get out of her ok?

She nods and you put a blanket around her get her on your horse and say.

Y/n: How long were they there?

???: They came three days ago and killed my husband.

You can clearly sense sadness in her voice and say.

Y/n: Don't worry you can stay with us until you figure out what you want to do. What's your name miss?

???: Adler. Sadie Adler.

Y/n: Everything's going to be fine Sadie.

You Arthur Dutch and Micah ride back to camp and you hear someone say.

???: I see someone.

Y/n: At ease Lenny.

You unmount your horse and you help Sadie down off your horse and Miss Grimshaw show where you are staying and Micah says.

Micah: How come Y/n gets a room and I get a bunk next to Bill Williamson and a bunch of darkies?

Y/n: Get to fucking bed.

Miss Grimshaw put Sadie in the same room as you and Clem when you open the door to you room Clementine comes to you and hugs you and you say.

Y/n: How are you baby girl?

Clementine: I'm fine you?

Y/n: Some guy jump me but I'm fine.

She nods and you put her to bed and kiss forehead goodnight and you sit on your bed and Sadie say.

Sadie: Who is that girl that you put to bed who is she to you?

Y/n: My 11 year old sister.

Sadie: What happened to your mom and dad?

Y/n: When I was 20 and when she was 4 when they died and it was March 15th and people came to our house in Valentine.

Sadie: Who were they?

Y/n: O'driscolls killed them but before I could kill the one that killed my mom and dad he escaped and me and Clem left Valentine before law showed up.

Sadie: We'll avenge them I promise you that.

You nod and then fall asleep on the bed.
