His Greenie (Newt x Reader)

-Time Out-

You're currently making baskets while the others are using them to place the veggies and fruits they harvested

After an hour, Your eyes are getting heavy and without knowing, you closed them for a sec

"Hey!"

"I'm Up!"

"No sleeping on the job okay?" Newt says placing a basket of vegetables near you..."Umm, can I have a time out? I'm really exhausted" You asked placing the unfinished basket on the table

Newt looked at you "If you're gonna have a time out, you're staying in the pit...those are the rules" You sighed and nodded anyway...

Newt led you to the pit and closed it before leaving...You hated him for not even giving you a pillow but you are too tired to even ramble about it so you just sat down on the cool ground and rested your head on the wall until you dozed off

"Y/N, wake up"

You groaned and scratched the back of your neck, annoyed "Ten more minutes"

"Wake Up"

You forced your eyes to open only to see Alby...You immediately sat up straighter "S-Sorry Alby! I'll work harder tomorrow I promise! I was just so tired and-"

"Hey, It's okay...you can sleep back at the Homestead" he says making you sigh in relief "Thanks"
"But before you do, Thomas is asking for you" You frowned, "He's awake?"

Alby cleared his throat catching everyone's attention...Newt was there too and you just avoided him, still annoyed with him

"Y/N!" Thomas says with a smile and you just smiled back, walking closer to him

"How are you feeling?"

"Much better...and guess what....I remember you" Your smile widened "You do?!"

He just nodded and you can't help but hug him making him grunt...""Uh...careful now"

"I thought you'll never remember! You Dimwit!" You say squeezing him making him tense...

"Y/N...You're choking him" You heard Newt say and you immediately let go with a sheepish grin on your face..."Sorry"
