🌪Soyokaze Step🌪

The atmosphere slightly went from a good arrival to a tense arrival real quick. I knew exactly why he wasn't here but I obviously can't say anything about it. Before anyone could say anything, Coach hurried us off to practice.

Everyone practiced like usual but me since I was still practicing the power of my shots.

"How is it going Ray?" Coach Endou asked

I glance at the pile of broken nets and sigh,

"I'm trying to control it but I end up breaking them" I groan as he chuckled and ruffles my hair

"It's fine, what just means that your shots are naturally really powerful" he points out.

I nod and keep training but I was stopped a shout that the captain was here. I looked up to see him looking down at us but I resumed back to work cause he wasn't going to play without a little push. Tenma seemed not rove fazed by his troubled look as he runs towards Shindou, greeting him a good morning. I sigh as I walk up their as well and stop him from walking away,

"Are you going to stop me too?" He groans

"I'm not cause I don't have to, a captain is someone that leads its comrades to the battle field and a conductor leads the instrumentalists with his moving hands. Don't you think your best fit for a role like that?" I questioned.

"What are you trying to say?" He questions

"Exactly what you heard Shindou Takuto" I smile and leave him speechless

I'm not going to tell him what to do or what not to do. I'll just tell me what his job is as a captain, he'll figure it out himself.

"Ray, what did you say to captain?" Tenma questions

"What he needed to hear" I simply reply

We go back to practice as for usual and head back to classes.

I'm actually kinda worried about Hiro since he stopped going to school a long time ago so he might be having issues in school - but I hope not.

At lunch I head to the club room where I overhear that Shindou was going to quit, I just sighed. I realised that Tsurugi was also at the door listening in to the conversation, soon enough Shindou came out. He looked at me and Tsurugi before leaving us behind,

"Haven't seen you in a while" I smirk as he's face turns into a glare

"And I'm glad of that" he replies

"How's Yuuchi-senpai?" I ask

"He's fine, why do you even care?" He glared

"Cause he's my friend Tsu-Baka" I tease

I leave him in the dust and walk into the club room to ask for a leave and quickly come back.

"Oh Ray what are you doing here?" Coach asks

"Can I have a permission slip to leave really quickly, I'll be coming back though" I plead

He looked at me for a second before smiling and giving me a signed slip of paper

"Thanks Coach" I said
