The invisible entity caught a ride in my cruiser when I stopped for fuel on the last planet and has not left me for a single moment.
First, it sounded like a short growl, the kind that reverberated through me for hours afterwards. Then, it was a kettle's whistle, assaulting my eardrums 'till I passed out. Today, I haven't heard even one peep and I fear what other torture it planned for me.
Maybe it implants these sounds in my brain. Or maybe it's inside me, chewing its way out through my ears.
