Chapter 5: The unexpected

He burst out in laughter. "Alright, chill."

Ugh! I hate these crutches! I can't smack him on his shoulder! I can't even take my hands off these crutches because I'd surely fall on the floor!

The moment we entered the room, all of their eyes landed on Bellamy.

Gross.

"Oh, let me guess. You're saying gross on your mind, aren't you?" he whispered, laughing softly.

Ugh! Can you remind me why the hell did this guy become my classmate in all of my subjects?!

Because I no longer have the patience to deal with him, I sat on the farthest seat possible. I want to be away from him. Gusto ko ng payapang buhay.

I was about to thank God for minutes of silence, but I started hearing Bellamy's voice again.

"As a bona fide student of Vera University, I, Ramirrah Therese Keen, of the BS Medical Technology program, with student numb—"

"Bellamy!" I yelled angrily, giving him a death stare.

He was sitting on the professor's desk while reading my pledge!

Ugh! The nerve of this guy!

His eyes went straight to mine, laughing his ass out again. All eyes of our blockmates are now on us.

"Now you know my name," nakangiting sabi niya doon sa mga babaeng nakaupo sa kabilang side ko.

What the f*ck?

He did that to make me yell his name? What the hell's wrong with him?!

"Sorry girls, but that's my girl," he declared, pointing his finger at me.

My eyes widened. Taken aback, I stared at him for seconds. "Me?" I scoffed when I had finally processed what he said.

Lumingon ako sa mga babae sa paligid ko. "'Wag kayo maniwala sa kanya. I'm not his girl, and never will be. He's all yours," I said, flashing them the brightest smile I could ever give.

Nabuhayan bigla 'yong mga mukha nila at kikiligin na sana pero natigilan kami parepareho nang magsalita ulit si Bellamy.

"Oh, come on, Keen. We just fought. We didn't break up."

What the hell?!

Hindi ba talaga siya titigil?!

Inis akong tumayo at hirap na naglakad papunta sa kanya.

"Ano bang problema mo ha?" irita kong tanong pero ngumisi lang siya.

"At saan mo nakuha 'yong pledge ko? Paano mo nakuha?! Nananahimik sa bag ko 'yon!" ubos pasensya kong sabi kaya mas lalo siyang ngumisi.

"You were too annoyed to not notice that I grabbed your bag few minutes ago." He shrugged nonchalantly, presenting my bag he's currently holding.

I quickly grabbed my bag from his hand and tried to get my pledge back but he was too tall I can't even reach it.

"Damn you, Bell. You're going to regret this," I warned him.

"Regret what?" he asked, grinning from ear to ear.

"Making fun of me!"

"Making out with you? Oh. So, are we good now? You're not mad at me anymore?" he said, running his fingers through my hair.

"F*ck you," ubos pasensya kong sabi.

"F*ck me?" He smiled mischievously.

"You're getting wilder and wilder, love. I like that."
