Y/n's pov:

It has been two days since mom and Mr. Norman went on their business trip. Things have been going well. Jace and I don't talk much but we don't fight either. We are not rude to each other anymore. Things are going well. My dance classes are going well with Mark. Apparently he is not a bad guy after all. He is goofy and sweet. He makes me smile every time he is around.

I was busy in my thoughts when I heard the doorbell. I opened the door revealing Mark, who stood there with a smile on his face a box. He gave me a side hug and came inside. Closing the door behind me I followed him. He placed the box on the table and took at me while I stared back with a confused look.

"Open it." I nodded and opened the box. My eyes widened as I found my favorite chocolates. I loved these when I was a kid. They stopped coming here for some reason. I looked at Mark who smiled. "Where did you get these?" He passed a smile. "My uncle was coming from Egypt so I asked him to bring these. I know how much you liked these." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.

I grinned and threw my arms around his neck. I felt him hug me back. "Thank you so much." Feeling my emotions flow I couldn't help but to cry. My dad use to bring these for me. I felt his hand going up and down on my back, trying to calm me down. I sniffed as I pulled away from the hug, finding Jace walk in the kitchen.

"Oh hey dude." Jace hummed and grabbed a packet of chips and walked back upstairs. "Thanks again." He wiped away my tears. "It's nothing. I just wanted to do something special for you since you are teaching an idiot like me." I laughed and he did the same. "You are not too bad." He raised his eyebrow. "Oh so I am bad. Wow thanks a lot." Playfully hitting his arm. "Come on you know you are great." He grinned.

Jace's pov:

I felt my heart skip a beat as I found y/n and Mark hugging each other. I heard y/n sob and it broke me even more. Why is she crying? I thought but quickly went in the kitchen to grab myself snacks when Mark greeted me. I was already feeling pissed for no reason I just hummed and went back upstairs.

I stood by the staircase and heard their conversation. They were being so nice to each other which was getting on my nerves. I sighed and went to my room.
After a while of staying in my room I got bored playing games and watching tv. I decided to go out and check what y/n and Mark were up to. Not that care just because I was bored. "Bye. I'll see you tomorrow." I heard y/n and I got down I saw her close the door.

My eyes landed on the box that was placed on the kitchen island. "What's this?" I couldn't help but to ask. I saw y/n grin. "Mark brought me these. I use to eat these when I was a kid. My dad would bring them so often. He knew I loved these." I hummed. "So why were you crying?" Damn it why did I ask that?!

She laughed nervously. "Oh you heard that... I couldn't control my feelings. It reminded me of my dad." Ooooh. Makes sense. She then picked up one chocolate and held it in front of me. "You wanna try it? It's delicious!" She exclaimed. I took it from her hand and took a bite of it. It sure was good. "It's amazing right?" I nodded while munching.

"I know right! I love these!! Oh what do you wanna eat for dinner? I was going to make noodles." I thought for a while. "I'll have that too." She nodded. "K then. You can make it after me?" I shook my head. She tilted her head in confusion. "I feel a bit lazy to cook for myself. Can you make it?" I saw her pass a smile and nod.

Y/n's pov:

It was weird when Jace asked me cook for him. He was the one who told me not to cook for him a few days ago. I didn't think about it for too long and started making noodles since it was dinner time. Jace sat in the living room while watching tv.

I placed the bowls on the table. "Dinner is ready!" I heard Jace turn the tv off. He came and sat down. I was taken aback when he smiled after smelling the noodles. Is he okay? Not after too long we both were done eating. "That was so good." I was again taken aback. Is this boy feeling okay? From all cold to nice. I smiled and grabbed the bowls.

I started doing the dishes while humming my favorite songs until I saw Jace come in the kitchen again, looking for something. "You want something?" He nodded. "Can I get a medicine for a headache?" I dried my hands quickly. "Are you feeling okay?" He shook his head. "I have this headache that is not going away. I even tried sleeping."

I touched his forehead and gasped. He had a fever. "Jace you have a fever. Come." I held his arm and pulled him upstairs. I placed him down on his bed. "Wait here." He stared at me, confused. I soon came back with medicines and a bowl of cold water with a small towel. "Take these and lay down. You need to rest." He took in the medicines and laid down without saying a word. I placed the damp towel on his forehead to decrease the fever level.

I soon felt his eyes closing while I sat on the edge of the bed, changing towel from time to time until I felt sleepy as well. I saw him sleeping peacefully. I couldn't help but to smile how cute he looked when his lips parted. I got up when I felt a hand on my wrist. "C-can you stay?" Leaving me dumbfounded, I soon nodded. He sifted aside, making place for me to sit.

According to my knowledge, I thought he was going to hold my hand and sleep but he placed he pulled me down. Into a laying position. He then placed his head on my chest, making my heart skip beats and making the butterflies dance in my stomach. He placed his arms around my waist and snuggled in my neck. Not after a minute, I heard soft snores leaving his pouty lips.

This is definitely not how siblings react. Placing my hand on his head in adjusted his head in my neck. Without realizing I soon fell asleep as well.
