Marcus stepped out of the long hallway and was marching straight to the door when two jackets lying on the dresser to the left caught his eye. Shuffling to the right a few steps more, he stepped around the base of the mirror and, while reaching for the jackets, he glanced up; the reflected mirror showed the black of his suit which matched his black undershirt, black purple tinted bow tie, brown skin, and whatever scruff beard thing he had going on. Amaya had said nothing about it so far, so he decided to see how far he could push it.

Amaya had, however, voice her opinion on how they were in the middle of what would've been their first break in weeks - with no long travel, paperwork, or any mention of their professions- and how 'cruel' it was for them to they were wasting it by going out rather than sleeping in as they were just twenty minutes prior.

Marcus checked himself again: no signs of the last minute awaking on his face or jacket, but that tie could use some work. He inwardly sighed, undid it, and got to work.

"You look like you're going to a funeral," a voice called from behind Marcus. His hands stilled for a second then picked up it's pace as his eyes darted back up to the mirror, scanning the rest of the living room through its reflection.

A TV that hung on the very back wall, broadcasting reruns of The Office, was cornered by two mismatched lounge chairs and faced one full couch which housed a body. Marcus let his eyes wander over to a grinning Calvin, all up in his business. Already exhausted from arguing with one supposed adult, Marcus decided it would be best to return in silence, and returned to untie the tie he had between him and his tie.

"And I know very well if there was one, I'd be the one bitchin' to you about it- oh, no... don't tell me," Calvin continued as did Marcus with his tie, " You've resorted to picking up widows... Man, I should've seen the signs."
