I sit in the green grass leaning against the now frozen Bill Cipher, A powerful dream demon that me and my family defeated. I flip through the pages of a dark blue journal that has the outline of a golden Pinetree and a number 1 on the front. Over the years of me and Mabel being in Gravity Falls full time I had started a journal of my own. It had stuff about creatures the original journals had but also new ones that I found from spending my days wandering through the forest.

"Dip Dot! You out here bro bro?" I hear Mabel calling through the forest for me. "There you are", she says stepping off the path and walking over to where Im sitting.

"Whatcha doing?"
"Just writing some stuff down", I reply not looking up from my journal.
"Ya ok, but why here?" She says glancing at the frozen demon behind me.
"Its peaceful here, plus it calms me seeing how Bill is frozen and never coming back"
"Ok you dork" she says playfully pushing my hat over my eyes then getting up again. " we should get going to the bus stop, we don't want go be late today! We get to see who our soulmates are!" She exclaims letting out a a squeal. I fix my hat then follow her back to the shack.

Dipper and Mabel make their way to their assigned seats. " Alright class, now that everyone is here we can begin talking in more detail about soulmates and during your last class of the day you will find out who your soulmate is!"

Throughout the day Teachers talked about soulmates, then toward the end of the day there was a soulmate day assembly.

"Okay everyone settle down", the principal said into the microphone. "As you know today is soulmate day... bla bla bla.... one true love... bla bla bla.... happiness.... bla bla bla...." Dipper just zoned out thinking about his journal and the forest back at the shack. 'I dont need a soulmate' Dipper thought to himself, 'instead of doing this dumb "soulmate day" I could be out exploring'

"Okay students thank you for your time! Head to your last class of the day."

Dipper walked to his last class in no hurry. He felt something grab his wrist and drag him through the crowd. " you slow-poke! Were going to be late to our last class! Hurry up you snail!" Mabel continued to drag him to their last class.
