{🦁}Chapter 6: A Deal with Azul{🦁}

The class was just the same as usual, nothing different except for the students in the infirmary. I volunteered to help the nurse tend to the injured students in exchange we can ask them questions about what happened, Mae did the questioning while I tend to all their injuries. After that, we went to other places and asked them, but they all say the same thing. That's when we completed our task and walked back to our dorm to review what we know.

Grim: I don't see anyone we talked to as anything other than clumsy. But do you still think these were still accidents?
Mae: well-

[Buuuuuuuzzzzzz]

Roxana: Huh? I wonder who could that be

I walked up to the door and opened it to reveal Ace standing at the other side of the door, I let him in and he stood next to me.

Ace: Yooo. Oh, Grim, you look better
Grim: Ugh, it's just you. Listen, I'm pretty busy right now so I don't have time to hang out
Ace: Busy? You're not gonna finish the homework?
Roxana: I already finished mine but-
Mae: we have a bit of a problem

~ One Minute Later ~

Ace: Hmmm. People getting injured suspiciously, Huh
Mae: Yup and my deductions believe that there's been a foul play
Grim: but while we were listening to them it just sounded like they were being clumsy or getting caught up in the excitement for the tournament
Roxana: But I'm sure we'll figure this out, we're this close to solving this case soon. Nothing can stop us now

Little did my mouth realized, that trouble was about to approach us. We heard footsteps coming into our Lounge, we saw Deuce coming in with a worried look on his eyes.

Deuce: Ace! This is bad!
Ace: Huh? What's got your panties in a bunch...
Deuce: Clover got hurt falling down the stairs...!
Roxana/Ace/Grim: Wha...!?!?!?
Grim: Ffgna! You can't mean that unflappable Trey?
Roxana: I can't really picture him being clumsy
Ace: Roxie is right, Trey isn't the kind of guy to just trip over nothing
Grim: Let's go ask him what happened!
Mae: He may be the key to solving this case

We all ran out of the Ramshackle Dorm and ran all the way to the Heartslabyul Dormitory, once we have reached to the dormitory, we entered Trey's room and spotted him and his injury. I walked up to him and sat on his bed carefully as to not be near his injury.

Ace: Pardon the intrusion
Deuce: Clover, are you alright?
Grim: Yo, glasses! We heard you're down in the dumps and came to pay our respects!
Cater: Oh, it's the A-Deuce Combo. Plus Grim, Perfect, and our lovely Alice in tow
Ace: Ah, hello... Cater, what's that A-Deuce thing?
Cater: Huh? It's cause both of your names end in "-ce" so I put them together
Deuce: Don't be lazy!
Ace: More importantly, how is Trey's injury
Trey: Aahh. I misstepped going down the stairs. I did my best to catch myself but my right foot is toast. I'll be on crutches for a while
Deuce: Eh! That's a pretty bad injury
Roxana: Do you mind if I write something for you, it might cheer you up
Trey: be my guest

I got a permanent marker and wrote a "get well soon" on his cast and left a cute heart symbol on it, with my initials on it.

Roxana: There you go
Trey: Thank you, Alice. I'm probably completely out of this year's magift games
Grim: I wasn't gonna do this if it wasn't a big deal but... Here, a get well can of tuna
Roxana: Awwww Grim, how thoughtful of you
Grim: [hops onto Roxana's lap] [hands Trey a can of tuna] Keep your chin up, Glasses
Trey: Haha, thanks a bunch [takes the can of tuna]
Cater: Ugh, cut me some slack. Our star player, Trey, is out makes everything harder, and we have to have tryouts again
Deuce/Ace: !! Tryouts? [stars in their eyes]
