My dad pick me up from his job to drop me off at Luke's house we pulled up after 10mins of driving in a circle God my dad is terrible at direction"So this is your boyfriend house dia"my dad said"he is not my boyfriend he is art partner and friend"I emphasized the word friend.my dad just shrugged. I love my mom and dad but the can be so clueless its all about work at the hospital but I appreciate his attempt to engage in my high school life.
I took a deep breath as I knocked on the door.I was shocked when the door open to a female version of Luke green eyes and all but more shockingly she pulled me into a tight hug."you must be Dianna.right? Luke talks about you all the time, he rights you do have nice cheek bones"she said releasing me from a hug"um thanks"I said touching my cheek bones I rarely noticed them."oh and it's true you do have a pleasant voice and a cute-"she was cut by luke"thats enough mom .Dia and I will be in my room.ok?"he said grabbing my hand and pulling me to his room"ok have a nice day guys I'll be back in 3 hours I'm helping grandma find and organize her record collection.help yourself to anything in fridge bye Dianna"she waving to me.
"Your mom is really sweet"I said
" Whatever.So this is my room"luke said opening his door.His room is exactly how I expect it to be. black with band poster and different color paint splatter everywhere.I really liked it I scanned the walls all over"so you like? You can sit anywhere you want.but I prefer my bed you can even lay down if you like."he winked "haha why do you have to be such a pervert?"I said crossing my arms."You make me that way" he smiled. "Ok let's get to work"
*one hour and thirty minutes*
"Well we finished that quite quickly with a nerd like me."I said plopping down on his bed."you're not a nerd.you're a beauty with a brain."he said turning me to look in his eyes."you really think that?"I said moving the stray hairs from my forehead"yeah"he said leaning closer and closer to my lips till he made contact not giving me enough time to think let alone react.~I chime in with a haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door no!~.luke phone rang causing him to break the kiss and answer the phone."yes mom. Ok I'll let her in.bye"luke said getting up walking to front of house with me a few steps behind him.He opened the front door revealing a small girl with pigtails
"LUKE"she yelled grabbing his legs"hi DJ"he said patting her hair.she let go of luke and tilt her head sideways noticing me"hello are luke's special friend"she said waving" um yes I am"I said "I'm DJ do wanna see my room I have a a lot of toys and games"she said grabbing my hand just like her brother did earlier.cute."sure"I said looking at luke really quickly it's to awkward to go back to luke'room.she lead me to her room and we played candyland which brought nostalgia to me.Time flew by quickly and my dad was outside waiting. I hugged DJ goodbye.I waved to luke.I couldn't talk about what happens nor did want to I can't deal with that. What did it mean? If he likes why me? this doesn't add up
My mind was riddled with all these thoughts that the car ride with my dad was dead silent but he didn't seem notices.
